pretty pissed about how all this went. Was struggling all morning and copped on SNKRS, didn't even get the option to enter my promo code. Called nike asking they would let me apply it and they just started giving me the biggest run around ever, one dude even said "why are you tripping about 40$" and he was a higher up!. How TF is he going to tell me about what to care about my money? They said if I cancel that order I cannot purchase another pear for 24 hours and they won't be on the site anymore by then. Anyone have any advice? They kept telling me they cannot edit SNKRS orders, I just don't understand!!

Just picked my pair up from ***** Sporting Goods at the Glendale Galleria. They opened at 9, got there at 8. Not a soul in sight. Went back and chilled in my car for about 20 min, came back and there was a small line about 20 deep. They only had a few pairs of each size. 8 & 9 were the first to go. Got my 11.5 in which they only had 2 total.

If you compare the materials on these to anything NB, Diadora, Adidas or Filling Pieces release in the same price range, the materials are subpar.

Still glad I got them, though.

 It's because people are paying for the label, hype, image, etc. not the quality.

I just went ahead and copped the 10.5 when it popped up on SNKRS, so got an 11 from offspring and a 10.5 from Nike... Done and Done. I guess I can let the 11 sit on ice or just do a charitable sale here on NT to an OG who needs'em on the cheap.

Nike rep didn't know what he was talking about when it comes to canceling an order, and still getting to put one through afterwards. This might be a sign that it's time for me to grow up, sell all of my Jordans, and walk away from this obsession.

Repped. People fail to grasp this concept. Jordans were never a cheap shoe. They were faithful to original MSRP a decade ago for most things which was awesome, but they're not really overcharging now. Minimum wage was $3.35 in '89, $9 or higher now. So really they are more affordable today than they were back then by about 10 hours. This is all before tax of course.

Its really not the price that people complain about, because they are gonna still sell. People complain about the quality. If the price is adjusted for inflation on the same shoe, then shoudnt we still be getting the exact same shoe???  Adidas shelltoes are still on par with the shape and materials yet there price only went up $20 or so.

SNKRS still has sizes that aren't showing up on NDC. Was able to scoop a size 10 off SNKRS 5 minutes ago and already got shipping conf while nothing under an 11 is showing on NDC. Nike you playin games... just wanted that swoosh price after i woke up late
