I remember this game like it was yesterday. Bulls won. I remember Mike complaining about blisters during the post game interview. I watched this game from beginning to end and literally gave a standing ovation to Mike (from my living room). Part of it was appreciation of his greatness and part of it was thank god I don't have to deal with this guy bussing the knicks *** anymore.

I still kick myself about not staying around for the Royals. Just picked the Jokers and another pair of Kobes. DTLR was opening up at 10 and I was already late to work but they had 5 dudes in line and no one wore a sz 12. I just said **** it I'm going to work and maybe they'll be there when I'm off at 2.....WRONG!!! That's the one release I'm like, wtf was I thinking. Able to copp the other Jordan 1s I wanted but still like wtf.

That's like how when my boy and I were waiting another dude came up a little bit after us so he was further back. I guess he was a negative nancy and saw the glass as being half empty. Dude panicked or something and just bounced. Half the people in line weren't even there for the royals.

Both of us got our pair easily. I didn't even tell dude that if he waited he would have gotten them, because I didn't want him to feel worse. He tried to make himself feel better by getting the UNC's with the jumpman.

If I really wanted to a GREAT reseller on this Release, I wouldn't be putting all my money on These Chi 1's

You can double up a MSRP of $160 and try sell these for $300+ right away or sit on them till they get to $400-500

Now, 

Pinnacle's Drop the same day we seem to forget.

ppl in Facebook groups and twitter love lowballing themselves. On ebay they hold more weight, that's why I don't even mess with those forms of selling. With that said at 900 I shipped as soon as he paid

I regret not getting two pairs of Shadows.

I just couldn't get myself to buy more than two pair of kicks that weekend. Especially when I still have nubuck Shadows in great condition.

People like to rewrite history with shadows and black and whites.

Went to my local store to get my raffle in yesterday and asked the manager if he let me have a look at them. They are pretty much what I expected in person, the leather is soft and very buttery. I suspected these Chicago 1's to be same or very similar to my Fragment 1's. Went home and checked my Fragment 1's and can confirm they are nearly identical but like all the pics we've seen so far of the Chicago's, the leather varies pair by pair. Some with have more wrinkle in same panels, and some are smooth, EXACTLY like the Fragment 1s. The tongue is also exactly the same as the Fragments, nice and thick, possibly even thicker than my 1994 Jordan 1. Also pulled out my blk/white 1's as I read some compared these 2015 Chicago's to them, I personally do not think they are the same and these are definitely a step up from the blk/whites. Remember these are remastered, so the only shoe I compare them to are the Fragments, and fortunately, Nike did it right and the quality is right up there with Fragment 1s. Hope that helps for those debating to buy based on quality opposed to hype.

I remember like a day or 2 before the drop of the shadows and toro 4s, ppl were charging $300 for toro 4s and retail or less for shadows. If there was a all red retro 1-13 dropping same day as these chicagos, we'd all easily eat on these chicagos. For reals...

All the extra stuff is just you saying you offer the best price which is all fine and dandy. You have to stop posting those group photos especially since all you are doing is trying to direct future sales to you.

You're absolutely right bro. However, if market price would've been $300 then I'd probably charge $230-$250 on some Wal-Mart price slashing ish and more than likely double/triple up on the Shadows. Remember, I'm a collector first. I use my habit to support my habit.

Case in point, Hares and Bred XI's. Both were reselling for $300+. I bought multiple pairs and sold for $230 (I'm out so don't ask!!!). When the smoke clears, I now own 3 pairs of size 12 Bred XI's AND I DIDN'T PAY FOR A SINGLE PAIR!

I'm not saying I would've still sold for $15 profit, I'm saying I woulda sold below market to the point everyone would've still felt they were getting a steal and "AF1King had the best prices around." I'm not trying to get rich, I'm just trying to do what I been doing for the last 14 years and collect shoes.
