Nah, when they first released these were going easily tor 2k-3k on the bay. Some are still moving for over a grand now. I expect the Paranorman to follow suit.

I won't say you shouldn't wear basketball shoes to play ball, but I will say that if you wear a $1000 sneaker in a rec-league/pick-up game, you better be the best player on the court. If you can't truly ball, you're going to look like the kid with the new Jordans and shooting sleeve who can't play that everybody laughs at X 100.

These do not hold up well on the hard wood. After 2-3 games the print starts to fade off from all the contact.
If funny when I rock them. All the young kids in the gym be stuck and all the old heads have no clue what the hell they are.

when i play in heat it usually ends up driving me crazy and i clean em more oftne then i should, so i dont do it too much

I only use them for indoors in the regional league that we have here. Most of the people here do not recognize them, but the ones that do always give me some more space than the others, maybe they are afraid of stepping onto them ;-).
I used them for 2 games and 4 practices now and the print is fading a bit of on the toe area, but you can not really see it, since it seems as if stars appear where the material is getting into contact with other shoes etc.
