Not bad on foot. Vegan leather feels cheaper than the tumbled leather we got on the non Billie version and they used that recycled Nike rubber for part of the outsole and there’s an A on the sock liner that says Algae ink.

In this case “vegan leather” is just the modern term for vinyl. If they had used something cooler like mushroom leather I probably would have scooped up the white/black pair.

I was surprised Nightwing made such a big deal about the tumbled vs smooth leather on these. Yeah the OG had smooth, but most everything had smooth at that point. Personally, I think the tumbled leather looks really good on these.

That last retro was a travesty. I was still going to buy a pair, then I tried them on and it was like they wrapped leather and rubber around a cinder block. Put them right TF back.
