Nike Air 180 OG

Let me just leave this here once again, OGs vs 2005s. The '18s really aren't any better.

This was a good video. I stilll don't understand what the "cantilever" technology was that Nike imposed on. Found the info below..

___________
Avia — Cantilever Technology
Sneaker Shown: Avia 830

Year (Innovation): 1979

Cantilever technology centers the heel of a shoe over a concave sole such that the sole "acts as a trampoline" to soften the force of impact, add support and provide a return in energy to one's stride. In 1991, Avia successfully sued Nike for infringing on their patented Cantilever technology in the Nike Air 180, which led to Nike being forced to destroy the remaining 180s that they had in production. Good to know.
___________

So because the air bag seen at the bottom was concave Nike had to destroy the remaining 180s in production?

Hey modus47 modus47 What was the cantilever portion of the 180? Was it the concave bottom sole where the air bag is?

I think they’re only letting people eat in GBP even if paying from USA.

Not sure why...
