NIKE ACG + NIKE TRAIL thread

I was doing a little spring cleaning, and found this shirt that Nike sent me probably about 8ish years ago. I never ordered it, just got notification of a package being sent my way from FedEx, and this showed up at the door.

Looks dope but IIRC from a nike tee of the similar time, really thin/bad quality

lmk if you wanna sell it. i love air revaderchis. i still have quite a few pairs.

has anyone in here any experience with the acg lava loft jacket?
i'm on the fence to get one for trail running during winter, but that down filling is holding me off, because it will need to be washed a lot and i don't have a tumble dryer, which is pretty much a must with down filling.
i think that's a strange move by nike for a sport jacket that people will sweat a lot into it.
pretty much every outdoor activity jacket with insulation uses synthetics alla primaloft etc.

I don’t, but I do have a couple running vests. They work well but the build quality is hit or miss. They wash fine

Heard mixed reviews for those at best. For the price, I’ll grab something else. They look great though

yah I wouldnt take the "all condition" part too seriously

honestly i‘m not near those 2 runners, but i really love the acg ultraflys. i have about 40 miles in them now, never had any pain or unstable feeling. it‘s not an everyday trainer, but none of (carbon)plated race shoes is. definitely a shoe that needs to be tried.
will go for the grey colorway if/when it releases.

What other shoes have you had to compare those to?

That said, they should change ACG to CSG, Certain Situations Gear 😂

zegama 1 and 2s, 2s still in use. they're my go to when my legs aren't feeling that fresh. was actually shooting for the upcoming brooks cascadia elites, but got the acg ultraflys on discount on launchday and thought to at least try them on. was so impressed by them on feet that i had to keep em and was definitely the right call for me. i've relatively strong ankles and good balance from playing basketball competitive and riding/racing mountainbikes. maybe that's why they work for me despite not being an elite runner.

It’s not about being “good enough” to use them. It’s about versatility. They promoted a do it all anywhere shoe but didn’t deliver. For cheap I’d grab a pair.

i don‘t get why some people get so hung up on that acg label, it‘s just nike‘s division where they now put their trailrunning gear under.
would the reviews be a bit different if it was the nike trail ultrafly 2? to me there isn‘t one perfect shoe for every kinda trail. very technical, rocky or deep soil require something different than say hardpack and roots, if you want to be fast and secure.
if you can get them on discount you should really try them.

Techwear was poppin on the hypebeast forums. Those dudes were way ahead of it even before ACG. Definitely put me onto a lot of stuff. Didn't have the budget for it back then but still got a couple errolson ACG waffle knits from the outlet

i mean nike hired the errol, the acronym designer to make nikelab more like, well, acronym

its definitely something id like to get retroed as im still wearing and always on a lookout for some goth ninja techwear stuff

If anybody from Nike is in this thread....you gotta retro these....definitely with Nike wanting to revive the ACG line
I can probably find 15 additional models that I would like to see being retroed. They had amazing stuff back then.

Gyakusou around that same time as well. I just finally got my first thing from that product line last year
