NIKE ACG + NIKE TRAIL thread

That’s the vibram sticky rubber sole (at least for the ultraflys it’s like that). It goes away after a few wears outside on something slightly abrasive.
Even on carpet? With my Zegamas, its with every step, no matter the surface.

Anyone else getting some sticky sounding noises from their ACG Zegamas? I ordered two pair, and both sound like I'm walking on a sticky floor. I think it's the glue used to adhere the insole to the midsole.
yeah that‘s normal at first, goes away after some wear.

Looks like NDC bout to release ACG posters ...real soon....don't know why they don't just rerelease the Lava High and Son of Lava Dome boot (instead of poster)? #shrugs
Agreed! Had both in high school and they're 2 of my favorite shoes of all time.

S/o to SHOP app for throwing a random discount code. Was able to get the Zegma for 132 shipped!

Haven't bought an ACG sneaker since the Mountain Fly and these Zegma >>> those IMO.

Will be interested in more c/w for this!

Man could you imagine an Acronym collab on this model :nerd:

Four pairs later, I've identified the problem. There is some tackiness from the soles, but there's also a quality control issue with the insoles. They're not glued down properly on 2.5 pairs (one pair the left is fine, but the right makes the noise).

i’m getting some acg zegamas and it’s ridiculous cause i still use my peg trail 4s and 5s. i probably shoulda got ultrafly trails cause my wife and i started walking this gravel and dirt path that’s relatively flat - would be fun to run it too. maybe in the future 🤷‍♂️

took a half day trip to sf and walked all over with mountain flys and actually had them on for 24 hours straight. they did ok and i wish i had another pair. met up with some nt team amfam bros and i was the only one without air maxes 😂

ordered the acg zegamas again but in a us 9.5 instead of my usual 10 in nike running. fit perfectly and way more secure than the sz 10.
tested em out today and they‘re a great addition to my acg ultrafly rotation.

has consensus been .5 down on this model?

I had to go a full size up for the Peg Trail 4. I'm thinking these are either TTS or half size up. Will probably try the half size up first. But, still waiting for more colorways. Black/white are the only current ones I would consider, but not really needing them so will wait for a sale.

total different fit than peg trail 4. acg zegama is by far the roomiest forefoot nike trail/acg has ever offert.

For the Trail 4 it was more about the padding in the heel pushing the foot forward. I find the overall shape provides great room width-wise. Sounds like the Zegamas don't have that heel padding?

heal is padded, toebox is wider and less shallow than peg4 trail. 9.5 in peg trail was too short, zegama 1 worked. in zegama 2 i went with a 10, it had a typical nike running last.
long story short, just try/order both sizes ;)
