I wish they would refresh the Misery Ridge shell with some sort of zip-in tech so you can combine both as one larger jacket.
Edit: as a matter of fact, my profile pic has the Undercover coat with the same idea. They used various snaps instead of a zip-in system.

Just got my Lava Loft in.
It's a cool piece. I can actually feel the air coming through the holes while the down fill keeps certain parts of my body warm.
It's pretty trippy.
One gripe is it fits very slim.
I wish I knew that.
When I looked at the size and fit section, I went off this:

If it’s slim fitting, it sounds like they might be positioning this as a mid layer to be worn under a hard shell. Or at the very least it’s a pairing that would make sense given the fit. Misery Ridge or that other one I can’t remember the name of. It was the “take-down” version of MR for $350 I think. That would work too as a hard shell.

Chances are the Lava Loft would have been a Nike Trail piece before the merge. If it's slim, it definitely seems made for running or layering.
