For the folks who are afraid of duties from SNKRDUNK ebay is writhing striking distance of the same prices with soleblock and the coupon code they have running. Size 11 and under are sub $330 and even most of the larger sizes are sub $400.
I've ordered from this seller before, super solid.

Anyone ever had an order cancelled from Nigel website that wasn’t clothing? I have a feeling that if I don’t get an email today that the chances of my order being canceled will be greater

Man… I like the Nigel 1s a lot, but I also don’t like em. Heard the swoosh is weird in person, which makes me hesitant. Can’t say I’m crazy about the man-made scuffs…. but I like em and want a pair. I have a weird relationship with this shoe. Wish I woulda woke up in time to try for em (literally woke up with seconds left to enter draw, and couldn’t enter in time), or wish they were cheaper.

I understand not being sure. I will say I'm more likely to wear the Nigel 1 low more than either 4 to be honest. You can just throw it on and go. No worries about wear and tear at all.

1 lows are great for sure. Even with never seeing the Nigel’s in hand, just based off of pics, I agree with em being more versatile as far as wears go. I think actually seeing a pair in hand could sway me to either like em more, or be able to forget about em.

I'm not a big J1 guy, AT ALL, and the Nigel lows are one of my favorite pairs I have in my entire sneaker collection. Incredibly versatile to wear and just throw on and go. I personally think you'd be really happy with them. My only gripe is that J1s aren't the most comfortable sneaker, but otherwise, this pair is awesome. I own the highs too, but they are way less versatile and I feel like the highs are either a love em or hate em pair.

Years ago, I bought 1s because they were cool (probably 2008ish) , and to include em in the 1-23 collection. Came to my senses, they’re all not that comfortable, so basically got rid of all of em (along with most of my Jordans). Then I started having shoes deteriorate, and realized 1s are pretty much forever, so I started grabbing pairs again mainly for longevity, and they look great new and beat. End of the day, they’re not that uncomfortable, and they look good.

All valid points there and yes, longevity is a huge plus with J1s. I agree too, J1s look good beat up and even though I'd never own an 85' OG, if I did, id want a pair that doesn't look pristine.
I was able to get my 2 pairs of Nigel lows for a relatively good price here in Oz. One from a reseller who I think sold them to me for $50 AUD over retail and I bought my other pair from snkrdunk for a really good price too. Last I looked, they've actually held decent value considering they aren't a J4. I definitely paid way less than what they currently sell for. I wouldn't pay current market prices on em tho.

I bought BBB from them for market low before the climb. They sat on my order for like a month, on periodic follow ups they claimed tariffs were causing delays..
Long story short, never got my pair. Short story shorter never buying from them again.
