NFL Week 5 In Review...

We're 0-5. Unbelievable.  I was sure we were going to Win until Eli threw that terrible pick down by 1.

David Wilson gets hurt when he was starting to look good

Coughlin will probably retire, but it's a horrible way to send him out.

Rest of the League-

Only Tony Romo could sooth such a terrible Sunday
laugh.gif
,  even though he's having a terrific season 1500yds 13tds only 2ints

Peyton moved to No.2 on all time passing list behind farve by 10,000yds but, he is also gaining on the all time TD list behind farve by 52 could get it next year!

Saints winning on the road is bad news for the rest of the NFC.

Wonder if Gronk will be enough to salvage the Pats offense.

3 way tie in the AFC North. Hope the Browns don't play themselves out of a QB.

Chiefs next four games are OAK, HOU, CLE, @BUF. they could easily be 8-0/7-1 going into Denver

--49ers won........Texans got beat down, Seahawks lost, and the Patriots lost.  What more can I ask for!!

--Matt Schaub......"Fell from Top 10 to not mentioned at all"

- That Romo pass wasn't as nearly as bad as Peyton's interception but yet he'll still get all the blame. Dude played fabulously yesterday, putting the loss on him would be asinine but that's what people do anyways.
- Peyton...surgical.
- Denarius Moore quietly putting in work this year
- The Texans are who we thought they were.
- Luck has, was and will continue to be the best QB from that rookie class. The distance between him and his peers will only continue to grow.
- Tom Brady has taken a step back, still a damn good QB but he just doesn't seem to be that same guy he once was anymore.
- As good as KC is and that D is for real, no one is going to be scared of them come playoff time.
- Bowfinger Blackmon :hat
- Dolphins still an elite team? Told y'all to slow down with the hype on them after three weeks. Tannehill makes that amazing throw to put them into FG range and they proceed to blow it in only a fashion that the Dolphins could.

As a Colts fan, I don't feel sorry for the Texans one bit. Let's not forget that you passed on #18 because you didn't have cap room to realistically sign him and keep other key players on the roster

Fixed for accuracy

Let's be honest here, Cowboys were never going to win the game. They just had to do it in a way that ripped the hearts out of their fanbase

giants fan right here. never fairweather. giants are awful this season. hinted in the preseason & confirmed after the second game

and we're still only two games down in the div so you bottom feeding cowboys fans ain't got no room

lay it on me dorks (except cowboys fans they don't really count as people)

- reality check loss for NE. going to have losses like that until we return to health on offense. defense continues to look great though.
- just had to be a romo turnover. game of his life and outplays peyton for 59 minutes. and then that one bad throw. feel for the guy.
- matt shaub is such a rut right now. it's a confidence thing at this point. he's not great, but he's not this bad. not even sure how the texans proceed from here.
- andrew luck...can't believe people were putting some of the other young guns in front of this kid :lol

Russ, Kap, Cam, Ponder, Gabbert, who else did everyone put on par with Luck before the season started? How's that workin out? :lol

Den/Dal was a lot of fun. Like arena football fun.

Joekel down for the year. :{

KC just wins. Andy Reid is winning games with Alex Smith.

The NFL just didn't feel the same without Calvin out there. :(

Lot of people missed an impressive performance by TP late last night.

Rivers is slingin it, but they still have Norv stench all on them. They slept thru the entire first half, then damn near tied it up in like 9 minutes.

How the **** the Giants 0-5 and 2 games outta first? :lol

Flacco is one tough SOB. He had it all stacked against him and got it done.

McGahee, Benjamin, and Gore all scratch for the U.

Giants fans are "fairweather". Get the **** outta here, son. :rollin Straight looking for the lulz.

ya know? this troll hates himself for loving everything ny related

"boy i can't wait to really get 'em on monday morning" - ol crazy stalker ex syndrome. your pantyhose are drippin wet b. i can smell you from here

--Still room on the Andrew Luck bandwagon.
--If New Orleans gets homefield, might as well pencil them into the Super Bowl.
--I've already said everything that needed to be said about the Texans over the last two seasons. I was right about everything. You're welcome.
--New England finally plays a game against a team with a winning record and loses. Didn't see that coming.
--Packers fans gassed after beating a team whose only healthy receivers were Kris Durham, Ryan Broyles, and Kevin Ogletree. Sounds about right.
--Miami slipping away.
--Justin Tucker is more important to Baltimore than Joe Flacco right now.
--We all knew Romo was gonna Romo, but did you see that other QB yesterday? The one in the Patriots uniform? Yikes.
--Speaking of...
56% completion rate, 6.2 YPC, 242 YPG, 7 TD, 3 INT, 80..5 QBR... ouch. Don't really want to hear excuses, either. Had to hear "Oh, he won Super Bowls with Deion Branch, Troy Brown, and David Patten at WR!" for years, so yeah... you can't have it both ways. Granted, he also knew where defenses were going to be lined up due to using illegal frequencies and camcorders, but still. Good thing they play in the AFC East.
--Remember when people said Eli Manning was better than his brother? Fun times.
--Cam played like straight up horse****.
--So did Philip. Welcome back, Mr. Rivers.

Don't leave RGIII out of the convo either, when I said Luck had the highest degree of difficulty last year and did the most with least I had ******** fans with knives at my neck.

:lol chester was just waiting for NE to lose

was a bad loss though, no doubt

That's because you were wrong.

Luck is better than RGIII as of right now.

But stop pretending Luck had no help last year and RGIII was stacked with more weapons. It's just not true. That conversation is old.

The Texans are a few plays away from being 0-5.

Jimmy Graham is unstoppable.

We know what happens when Tom Brady is pissed off the next game he plays. Next week's Saints-Patriots game could look like the Broncos-Saints.

Giants won't win anything til they put a little trust into David Wilson again. Nobody is respecting your run game at all with Jacobs 3 yards per carry.

Justin Blackmon went ham. I feel bad for anybody that's on the Jaguars though. Imagine the reactions when people around Jacksonville see Blaine Gabbert around town :lol

You mean like his 3.9 YPC rushing monster combo of Vick Ballard and Donald Brown?
His receiving core of Reggie Wayne, Donnie Avery + 5 rookies?
The OL that gave up 41 sacks?
The fact Indy had the 21st ranked defense for points allowed, 26th for yards allowed, and 30th for turnovers?

Please, enlighten us all on what made last years Indianapolis Colts squad 'stacked.'

DId i say INDY was stacked? No. The notion that RGIII had more help is not true. He had a better running game, yes.

Oh and the Washington Defense that was ranked 28th with Starting WRs like Leonard Hankerson and Joshua Morgan.

By the way TY Hilton, Fleener, and Allen are all way better than anyone on the ******** receiving corps not named Garcon. despite the fact that they were rookies. Go look at the roster yourself.

Skins had the best running game in the league. Luck had BETTER weapons to pass to. Both defenses were poor. If you want to call that having "the least" around you. Go for it.

Indy actually has a very solid team this year . Those receivers are good and are schemed well. Those of us who continue to believe its only Andrew Luck are going to continue to be surprised by the overall quality of this squad.
