And when other QBs have four huge drops which drastically affect their statistics, you make similar smart *** comments about their play too?
Am I making smart butt comments or just being real?

Everything is an excuse for this guy
Whatever man. Not making any "excuses" for anyone.  He had 250 yards of total offense, averaged nearly 10 yards per attempt, had 2 TDs and a passer rating of 108.  Even if you dont factor in the fact that there were four huge drops, one of which came in the endzone, and you are looking a good game.

I can think of at least one throw where the blame had to be put on Kaep for the terrible spiral and sinking fast to the ground.

You can praise Kap all you want. But if Gore is getting shut down, Kap isn't going to carry that offense

Yeah, at times he makes great deep throws. Then, at other times, he doesn't plant his feet and throws horrible short-passes. He's not as calculating as Wilson and a little more hesitant than Cam. But, we have seen that he can be resilient in the big stage (superbowl, NFC championship game). He just needs to execute with his throws instead of legs now because he is no longer surprise defenses with his speed anymore.

Panthers...so close to a 1st round bye I can taste it. :hat

Don't see how any other LB combo can be considered > Luke+TD this season.

Stafford = fraud alert. Been pretty obvious to me for awhile now tho...

Sad how none of those 4 teams fighting for that last AFC spot truly control their own playoff fate. Even MIA needs a win and some help smh.

Speaking of MIA...putrid performance. :{

You too, CHI, BAL. Pitiful.

Sunday night's conveniently set up for DAL fans to cry foul about not having Romo if/when they lose the division, only after having him twice before in the same spot and still losing.

Would you prefer us to say ridiculous and outlandish statements such as Nick Foles for MVP??

If Peyton wasn't having one of the best seasons of all time, you could make a good debate for Foles

Similar to Eagles fans stating the only reason the Cowboys won the first matchup was due to Foles being injured?

For the record, Romo had a 102 QB rating in one of those two losses. But we love to blame him for everything because it's the fun thing to do. Nevermind the defense giving up 280 yards on the ground; nevermind being dead last in rushing yards and attempts in the NFL; and never mind having Dwayne Harris and Kevin Ogletree as your #1 and #2 WR's respectively in the 4th quarter.

who said he was MVP? they said in the convo which means have a really good season but everyone already said it's going to Peyton champ

should no one's season be considered MVP worthy if we already know the winner? In any other year he could easily be a favorite to win it

mpire mpire My post wasn't aimed at Romo, although I probably could've been a bit clearer in that regard. Some fans would try to use that no Romo excuse, when if Garrett remembered how to call a run play, or if they don't let Morris run all over them for 200 last year, etc. then things would probably be different. #9 def. gets more blame then deserved at times. From a Panther fan's perspective, I know the feeling to a degree given how many times Cam got blamed for losses his first two years when Chud forgot we had Williams and Stewart in Carolina, on top of our defensive lapses (ATL 2012, etc.) and so on.

PHI fans would be deemed just as irrational if they used that Foles excuse for when y'all beat em the first time around. 11-29 for 80 yards before getting hurt probably made some of their fans wish it had happened sooner :lol

Soon as you put the word "if" in your statement, you lost any and all credibility on the matter at hand champ.  I don't blame you however, you're doing the best you can with what you have..........which isn't much, but you're at least attempting to put your best foot forward.  For that, I say keep at it.

In life, your either first or your last.  With that being said, just about any and everybody knows that Peyton Manning is winning the MVP this year, and rightly so.  Nick Foles name being tossed into the MVP list means little to nothing as he's not winning the award this year so what difference does it make.  Does anyone remember who came in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place in the MVP race for any given year.  Most likely not, so it doesn't matter.  It's not even about Nick Foles name being tossed into the list, it's the point of dudes like you and others highlighting that as if it's truly some sort of accomplishment or something.  That's a loser mentality right there if ever I heard of one.

Wasn't trying to jump on you, and Romo deserves blame for every loss but he is at the bottom of the list with the multitude of issues with this Cowboys team.

I agree. Cam has taken a lot of heat despite having mediocre talent around him. Now that he has a defense and doesn't have to do everything on his own, his team is about to win the NFC South.

There's only 4 QB's IMO that can literally carry teams on their back while being surrounded by mediocrity and thats Brady, Brees, Rodgers and Manning (obviously not Eli). But even these QB's in their SB runs have had their defenses step up.

In defense of Philly fans, perhaps that game against Dallas was an anomaly. Foles completed 84% of his passes and those that were incomplete were balls throw away.

I would like to believe Grandpa Kiffin has a chip on his shoulder (no pun intended) based on what happened back in his USC days.

You're right; Nick Foles season blows because he isn't the MVP, his season and Eli's are pretty much one and the same. You are a loser if you don't finish 1st; I have a feeling you don't finish first in anything you do which is exactly why you come off so hurt in every post.

Who said or even tried to insinuate that "Nick Foles season blows because he isn't the MVP"  Stop being so sensitive and trying to gain sympathy by copping pleas just because someone doesn't agree with you, stop that right now.  When folks get hurt or upset from a well-thought out response, dudes like you always try to sneak in a personal attack.  It's cool though, it comes with the territory of being soft.  For a dude who is suppose to be from Philly, you certainly don't fit the bill champ.

Nick Foles is having a good season, but not an MVP season as he's not winning the MVP this year, simple as that.  Also, between me and you let's not talk about who finishes 1st or not.  I think we can take a look at the the existence of our immediate families individually and see first hand who's finished 1st or not.  Tell your step-dad I said happy holidays when you see him tomorrow.

Tell your gerbil, Champ and TV dinner that I said happy holidays tomorrow :p

I agree, some of the passes I have seen from him :x :eek
That 65 yard laser to VD :x

I think Greg Roman has a lot to do with his play at times. Roman doesn't call anything creative and then calls some runs when he should pass and passes when he should run. I think Kaep will continue to improve and play better the absense of Crabtree killed them early in the year. Q is still a good receiver but he can't be your number 1 receiver, Kaep is playing his best ball of the season right now.
