NFL Week 13 In Review...

Coughlin is toast.  Cant see him in NY next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if he just retired. He's approaching 70, might be time to just hang it up. From his success in Jacksonville to getting his rings with the Giants. He had a great run

Texans
-Watt is the best the player in the game

NFL
- How is Hoyer getting done dirty when he's sucked for the last 3 weeks? :lol
- Cowboys possibly poised for another collapse 8o
- Rodgers is on another level, his accuracy on those down field throws :x

Pats fans:  Do you guys think that Bill is being a little too hard on Gray?  1 carry in the last 2 games for over-sleeping one practice?

I don't even think it's that

Pats always seem to do this with a player shining one week and then it's someone else the following week but it always seems to work out for them

Not really, I see it as just to keep the defense coordinators confused instead of expecting this or that back to play

They all will get their time to play, Bill makes use of everyone

is it just me or that between the obvious holes the giants have personnel wise, the players kinda tuned him out... it's like it's not being translated over on the field or something. eli stay being about that mediocre life. they don't have as many good and proven veterans on the team like they did on their 2 super bowl runs... i dono man.

maybe.. its hard to say if he was doing this on purpose. i mean, i definitely thought he should've gotten more snaps yesterday but we didn't run the ball enough overall so... i think it's safe to say that blount is gonna get at least half or more carries from this point on. it's blount's job to lose IMO.

But when gray gets into the games, he needs to make the most out of it, that's all he can do. So yeah you're right maybe BB was a bit too hard on him. coming weeks will be telling.

yup like the guys said above... it's performance based playing time basically... so that's why i said the coming weeks will be telling. Not just in games (although thats a big part of it) but practice/game planning definitely is part of the equation in terms of playing time and so on.

All good points.  Bill

.  So secretive about everything, but whatever he cooks up seems to always work in the end.

well i believe that the team was winning somewhat in spite of hoyer's performance... sure he came thru in that falcons game at the end but throughout the game he had 3 picks.  There's more to it, i'm sure... what's FF's thoughts on this?

but now you go to a rookie in the mist of a playoff run? shouldve started the kid week 4 or 5 not week 12.

He's thrown 6 picks in the last 3 weeks. They aren't winning because of Hoyer. I'm not sure that Manziel is the answer right now but maybe this serves as a wake up call to Hoyer to get his **** together.

hope denver is able to keep orlando franklin. dude has been great since he was drafted.

- hats off to rodgers and company...helluva game. hopefully we get to see rematch
- i'm not one to typically make fun of the raiders...but cot damn
- andrew luck with a nice recovery after a rocky start
- how bout the chargers...back from the dead? maybe...they're going to get a pissed off NE team next week
- didn't see any of the giants game but saw the score updates all afternoon. the **** happened?
- sherman
- surprised at how bad the cowboys got stuffed on thanksgiving. i do think they'll bounce back though

49ers offense is bad.

Aaron Rodgers is good.

Salute to those Rams players for that gesture.

Repped. I understand why he does it, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating.

-doubt anyone cares...but I was wrong wrong wrong about Sanchez. He's not setting the world on fire, but he's not the qb he was in New York either. He's much better than I ever thought he was capable of being. And for that, I was wrong.

-I been saying all year the eagles ain't been balanced and ST tds been bailing them out. So of course they have their most balanced performance of the season when it counts most. Kudos.

-shady was dominant. Eagles dominated on both lines (particularly the dline). Chip called a flawless game.

-with all that said, the rematch next week is gonna be another big game with everything at stake.

NFL
-loved Ryan fitzpatricks presser. Lil homie was geeked. Lol.
-loved what the rams did in coming out. MUCH RESPECT!
-Phillips comeback was filthy
-luck
-Seahawks vs eagles is gonna be a GREAT ONE. both teams hitting their stride at the right time
-9ers are STUPID if they get rid of harbaugh.
-Rodgers is filthy. Packs D is active, and makes big plays when needed.
-who saw Demarcus ware having as big a year as he's having!?! That boy makes a big play every game. :smokin

Browns weren't winning thx to Hoyer, were winning thx to run game and defense really.

With that said, I don't think Manziel would help them win more games then Hoyer rest of the season. Rookies just don't come in and do that off the pine. Should just have a wildcat package that they can go to for a handful of games. Season spiraling toward a lost cause if Hoyer doesn't turn his play around anyhow.

Was so promising after the big win at cincy.

Was with you until "just running a wildcat package". Has any QB succeeded strictly off running wildcat?

Unrelated note, I was pretty frustrated with obrien bringing in Tom savage to just hand the ball off. How are those reps helping him get better or adding to his experience? It defeats the purpose of you bring him in to do nothing.

That beatdown on Thursday.
