For Haskins...not for Gruden. Why groom someone not ready yet when he wont be there to see it through? Everyone always looks at these things one-sided...
The best thing Washington can do is fire Gruden and Snyder needs to force the hand to play Haskins. They're going to be one of top 3 worst teams at this point and it wouldn't surprise if the new regime takes the QB Miami doesn't and Haskins will get the Rosen treatment. Unless, of course, they put him in and he balls out and the new coach wants to keep him.
I must have come across this video endless times on social media/YouTube and every time I see it I can’t help but watch it all the way through
Jay is literally coaching to save his job. He's week-to-week now, no matter what's said in the media. Keenum is #1, Colt is #2....Haskins will not see the field this year, IMO, as long as Jay is still employed. IF the team loses on Sunday, I think there will be some changes made to the staff. No, I don't think that will be the game that gets Jay fired, but once they lose to NE in week 5, that's gonna be it. Haskins will get the start vs. Miami, and that would be the best case scenario for everyone going forward.
