frshstunna That’s exactly what I’ve been saying. The Ravens being cheap or stingy at the QB and WR positions shouldn’t be a surprise at this point They got lucky with Flacco and Lamar working out actually. As much **** as folks give Flacco, he made the playoffs his first 5 seasons and won a SB. That’s more than a lot of QBs can say.

Only made it one of the next 5 until Lamar came through. Now they’ve made it 4 out of the last 5 with including 4 double digit seasons (10,14,11,10).

10/15 playoff appearances with a SB win since 2008 isn’t perfect but not bad given it was during the Brady Pats Era and now the Mahomes era in the AFC.

I don’t think a single soul in here, Ravens fans included, disagreed that Lamar’s pass catching weapons have been trash. We have also stated that they have historically sucked drafting, attracting FAs and trading for players at that position.

Not ideal but it kind of is what it is although and they have been a perennial playoff team and won a SB doing it that way. They have passed on some good talent in the back end of the first, second round but those picks can be a crapshoot
