Well he can’t say I’m playing or plan on playing until they complete a trade

MY understanding of the situation is that if NYJ traded for him now, the cap is ~$40MM. If they wait until June 1 or after it goes down to $15MM. That is huge IMO. I am sure both teams want to get this done but if I am the Jets, I would bite try to bite the bullet and wait the 2.5 months. The problem is that you would have to imagine the Packers want that #13 Jets pick this year.
