That's why I don't like wasting a down by spiking the ball there. You're at the 20 with still a TO in your pocket and plays aren't gonna take too long to develop. I'd rather have as many downs to score there instead of worrying about the clock

the problem was minshew went for the TD on 3 straight downs
we had a timeout plus some time
guys were there underneath.. even on the 4th, smitty was open for the first
on 3rd he had a chance to make the 4th more manageable with a check down
