What's the precedent for suspensions being retroactive? Has that ever happened? He deserves to be suspended, but what's the difference in legal ramifications for the two?

All I know is DV is a guaranteed six games now, I think personal conduct can be as low as two they said. But he's also deactivated so who knows if any of those games will count towards his suspension or what. I kind of think he doesn't play again this season. NFL will overreact on everything now just to be safe.
