BREAKING: NFL players have approved the terms of the new drug policy agreement with the NFL, per a league source
no four year old should have to deal with this kind of thing, but some of y'all seem to think it's ok - a perfectly warranted way to discipline someoneAccording to police reports, the child, however, had a slightly different story, telling authorities that “Daddy Peterson hit me on my face.” The child also expressed worry that Peterson would punch him in the face if the child reported the incident to authorities. He also said that he had been hit by a belt and that “there are a lot of belts in Daddy’s closet.” He added that Peterson put leaves in his mouth when he was being hit with the switch while his pants were down. The child told his mother that Peterson “likes belts and switches” and “has a whooping room.”
JesusThe article is on the front page of Deadspin. ***** needs to get suspended just like Rice. Damn near bought tears to my eyes reading it. The kid had lacerations on him scrotum
But another woman has come forward to say she is the mother of another Peterson child — a 4-year-old boy — and that the running back has fathered enough children to run offense on seven-on-seven drills.
“To my knowledge he takes care of them all,” Erica Syion, a former gentlemen’s-club dancer from Dallas, told TMZ, “but I only found out about the other two this week.”
Syion said Peterson pays child support but doesn’t spend as much quality time with his children as he should. “He gets my son in the summertime,” Syion said, “but he could do better.”
Totally normal. Nothing messed up or creepy about this at all. Sounds like a great guy and father.Originally Posted by DON RAMON

He lost his son (who he never saw until after the beating) to a beating, and yet he still beats his son?
Nothing wrong with disciplining your child.
yes harsh punishment but the overreaction is real ... more kids need discipline in this world ...
do you know how many people would be locked right now for using that method of discipline?
Lil kid probably bad as hell and is obviously scared of his daddy like all sons should be. Kids will say anything to get off punishment. I got a lot of well deserved whoopings when i was young and I'm not emotionally scarred.
On another note shouldn't Daryl Washington's year long ban be overturned too?
Dude there's pictures and text messages. This isn't just a kid talking to get out of trouble.Lil kid probably bad as hell and is obviously scared of his daddy like all sons should be. foot in mouth ... i'll admit when i'm wrong ... i only read about the switch

I'm from the Caribbean, and am all too familiar with getting a "whooping" from my parents, be it from a switch or pretty much anything they could get their hands on at the time.
To this day, the concept of getting put in timeout or grounded as punishment is still is foreign to me.
All that said, if the child's account of AP's beating is true then that's just disgusting.
A grown man punching a 4 year old in the face? Putting leaves in his mouth?
At this rate, Gurdell might have to cancel week 2
