I hate going to football games live; so much better on TV IMO

Played football in high school and you literally have no clue what is really going on even from being right on the sideline.. We spent most of the time we weren't in the game standing on the bench trying figure out what exactly was happening

I'll go to a live game if my team isn't playing, then I'm just going for the experience.. Go tailgating.. Drink some beers.. Talk trash.. But I prefer college games for all of that

But when my team plays I actually want to see everything that's happening.. So give me a big screen tv with hd

I do want to go to a eagles game on Philly though.. I've been to 2 eagles games outside of Philly

On a positive note, the Vikings finished their first OTAs with no injuries. :hat

Apparently Jennings looked great today too. Said he was catching everything thrown his way. Caught a 50yd bomb from Teddy too... :hat

Another reason why I think the blackout rule is a joke. A good % would rather watch at home

the atomosphere at games is fun, no doubt. but literally watching the actual game...you get so much more on tv.

I'm watching this top 100 players list.

Kam Chancellor has absolutely murdered Vernon Davis over the years.

I mean good God. :x

If fans are able to just watch, have some drinks, have fun, some good light hearted taunting/trash talk with opposing fans then I'm all for it. Problem is most football fans are a-clowns and take it wayyyyy too seriously. But those games that are like I've described above I do miss going to them. Just not enough go like that

I know it's way too early but I'm kinda excited to see all these new pieces on the defense. If nothing else it will be interesting to finally see new faces

For sure. I still enjoy myself in attendance, but obviously watching from the comfort of my couch has plenty of perks.

Going to Eagles games costs a fortunate and you don't get half the stuff you can from watching on TV

I go down to the Linc for tailgates then go to xfinity live for the game.

My gf took a job in the city so I'm moving back in fall which means ill end up going to a couple Eagles games

I'm not getting Dish in an NYC apartment though. I doubt it's even possible where I live.

Used to have Directv and of course had Sunday ticket. Then a while ago they switched all the hd programming to this humoungus dish. It was sticking above my fire escape (I had the dish mounted on a piece of wood, mounted with U bolts on the fire escape and brought it in and out). I was so sad when I had to get rid of Directv for TWC. TWC sucks so much. I swear if the dishes went back to the smaller ones, I'd be on that in a heartbeat. Red zone is great and all but I like to watch my full Colts games.

10027: I can see how that'd be a problem. :lol Oh wells.

I love DTV, but it's so damn expensive when you buy all the sports packages with all the movie channels (mostly for roommates). I'll continue to be a sucker though so long as they're the only ones to offer the Sunday Ticket. Someone mentioned that contract coming up soon or something? My main gripe is that I have to get a separate internet provider since DTV doesn't bundle in internet, so it just adds to the cost.

LeBron is the biggest name in the NBA but he's a groupie for a kid that hasn't played one game in the NFL. I just don't get people anymore :{

DeSean Jackson having some hamstring issues

You can get the Sunday TIcket with PS3 too without having DTV if I'm not mistaken. Gotta pay for it all up front I think though...

not nfl related but KOBE > LEBRON... **** LEBRON

:lol I don't even have a fire escape

I did have the online version last year from the madden deal and it was amazing. Don't know how I'll live without it.

Nick Foles just had an interview on sports radio; my man crush is growing

I've said it 500 times on here, Directv/NFL owns me.

They could charge a grand for Sunday ticket, I'd still pay it. :{

You get 16 games a year of your team, or face having to sit thru the boring *** Seahawks/Cardinal games or whatever other local garbage they give you, no way. I'm payin.

I just pray they don't see that and raise my ****. 300 is just fine for now. :lol :lol :lol

I can't quit you NFL. :(

is it true that you don't need direct tv? you can use a playstation or xbox?
