Damn, it's been 10 years since the pats won their last one. Obviously none after spygate but that's just beating a dead horse.
Why would they win 1 now?
On another note, if Peyton were to get hurt, I would still kinda be confident is osweiler.
Half srs.
I mean what's preventing them from contending for more? How long ago you won your last doesn't matter. And I believe their regular season win% has gone up since Spygate so I'm not putting that as a reason to not win.
Atwater
Sharpe
Elway
Davis
Lynch
McCaffery
Smith
Brett Favre losing and Jamal Anderson eating dirt
did we just become best friends?

but peyton gets dragged through the mud for his good seasons and postseason shortcomings. why should the pats be treated any different?
they've actually become a stronger and more consistent team after it (in terms of winning).
they've actually become a stronger and more consistent team after it (in terms of winning).
Their division being a free ride to the playoffs (and six free wins) for the last decade makes them look 'stronger' than they are.
It's still one year in which the Eagles made the playoffs the last game of the season, by default.Andy Reid is 4
In that one year, his QB coach was hired to be the OC for another team and countless teams have spoken about integrating what they perceive to be his concepts into their organization, team and offense
And let's not forget the coaches who specifically went to him to learn from and work with
Then maclin goes down in camp and we have a carousel at QB for most of the start of the season (foles took ove in week 10 and finished the season).. Then pro bowlers have the years of their career (shady and desean).. And guys become pro bowlers or borderline guys (foles and cooper)
Anyone that uses passing statsof today in a historical reference and comparison is a fool. Have to use perspective and context
Broussard? So apparently the Josh Gordon verdict will be announced today....
*sources*
I need this to be said so I can stop reading it on this board. Seahawk fans, jot this down.
Russell Wilson, "only 3rd QB ever to throw 50 TD's his first two years"
Stop saying that like it means something. It doesn't.
Throwing TD's in 2012 and 2013 is NOT like throwing TD's in 1987 or 88. Or 93 or 94. Or 99 and 2000.
STOP USING THAT LAME *** BAROMETER. Please.
Quarterbacks, TODAY, get to start from day 1. That was not the case for Joe Montana, Steve Young, John Elway, Dan Marino, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, etc.
You have a kid that gets the team on day 1, and gets to throw in an era where receivers have free run of the field. Every other QB for the past 75 years hasn't had that. QB's the last 5, do.
Stop using that stat like it's meaningful.
It's called perspective. If you need help, try this:
Dan Marino yards his first two years 7,294
Ryan Tannehill yards his first two years 7,207
Anyone that regurgitates that stupid *** stat about Wilson, 3rd QB, etc etc needs to log off for a while and rethink things.
Thank you.
agreed.. but he's a better coach than andy reid RIGHT NOW..
