It doesn't matter what I think. You're still not guaranteed a score. Difference between the FG being between for the win/tie vs. win/loss. Even if they didn't get it, a FG still wins if the score holds. Never assume. 

You're assuming the Pack don't score though

Romo is banged up too, no need to rush to go for 2. You never know how FG's add up late in the game or other unforeseen type scores

Just a difference in philosophy. You don't assume points. You expect and feel confident you score, but you're never guaranteed. Assume the worst of the scenarios, to be prepared.
