Let's do a little compilation of Seahawks opinions on the internet:

-The cornerbacks aren't good because they're carried by the safeties

-The safeties aren't that good because they're carried by the cornerbacks

-The secondary in general isn't that good because it's carried by the pass rush

-The pass rush isn't that good because it's carried by the coverage in the secondary

-The linebackers aren't even worth mentioning, since they're carried by both the pass rush and the secondary

-The quarterback isn't that good because he's carried by that entire defense to help him have the 3rd most TD passes all-time in his first two seasons, much like the stats Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson and Mark Sanchez put up with the help of their defenses

-Pete Carroll isn't that good because he's carried by John Schneider's drafting

-John Schneider isn't that good at drafting, it's just that the coach does a good job in development

-Marshawn Lynch is good.

Just a team full of average, system players.

Did I get it right?  @Ballerific703

With Revis, Pats going to be top 5 defense and top 3 offense this year :hat

That PP Sidekick II photo.

I rock with Sherman and I honestly don't understand why another player would even take shots at dude right now outside of trying to get attention, he's got the numbers and a ring to prove he's "elite"... these other dudes been ballin' on sorry-average squads thinkin' their statements hold weight, football heads already know Haden X PP esque players are really good but they're just setting themselves up to get slaughtered on Social Media and put more of a microscope on how they fair on a weekly basis to these fairweather fans that will litter their feeds.

At some of y'all actually thinking Sherman takes away half the field alone.

I respect his grind and his marketing. If he was quiet and Earl Thomas was loud and obnoxious then he'd be getting the love.

He's a top tier corner but consensus #1 >D hard to say with all those pro bowlers around him.

Let's do a little compilation of Seahawks opinions on the internet:
Some of you Seahawks fans have got to be some of the most ***** made dudes around.  As much as some of you dudes compare and rate other players on other teams you dudes have the nerve to cry and try to gain sympathy from the masses whenever anyone talks about your team or a player from you team.  If you can dish it, you should be able to take it.  If not, prepare yourselves accordingly as S&T ain't and shouldn't be for the faint of heart.

Nobody said Sherman is trash or that he isn't a very good corner.  Just because someone doesn't have him ranked #1 doesn't mean that's some great injustice.  Dude is obviously very good at what he does but to act like Sherman isn't slightly at an advantage against his competition at the same position from other teams given the help behind and around him is asinine.

It's like the fans are taking on the same persona as Sherman himself, whenever anybody talks about the corner position in general, here comes Sherman and his legion of crybabies begging for attention just because.  The **** is sickening.

Revis is still the best corner in the league, he'll prove it this year.

Revis

Sherman

PP/Haden

Imagine if Revis played on that Seahawks defense :x

Hey man I don't know what you are so butthurt about... I just compiled together some general opinions I've heard here on NT.

give me the defense that has sherman, thomas, wagner and chanecellor..

still got to go 11 v 11

as i mentioned in the draft thread, with what offenses are starting to do (focus on versatile players and ability to do multiple things out of set formations).. you need defenders who have that versatility as well and those 4 guys give you that

Dude, let me say this to you, your fanbase and even Richard Sherman if he has access to this post.  In regards to the "opinions you've heard on NT" or elsewhere, the Seahawks just won the Super Bowl, your defense overall is highly regarded by most to to be the best in the league, and Richard Sherman if your reading this champ, you just got your big money contract..............why the hell are any of you dudes worried or concerned about the opinions of those around you.

At the end of the day, as of now none you dudes should have anything to say in response to anybodies opinion as you're currently on top of the game.  As the saying goes, act like you been there before, even if you haven't been.  Most teams want to be where you currently are, no need to take their opinion or their viewpoint as the truth as you dudes should know what you are capable of as you just went out and proved it this past year.

You can't fight every fight, and you shouldn't feel the need to respond to every so called "negative" opinion about you here on NT, just let it be.  Remember, the boo's usually come from the cheap seats.

You guys discussing whose the best and my boy Joe is on #HadenIsland just counting stacks :smokin

I cant hate on sherman he is a great corner, just talks too much but i really cant even complain about that because he backs it up. but earl thomas is the best player on that team period and its not even close...

The NFC West is going to be amazing this year both on the field and on this board :hat

After winning a title I thought Hawks fans would learn to let comments and items slide :lol

Can't keep a tally of opinions that you feel slight your team. Who cares, you have the Lombardi

This dude really made a list of things people say his team. :lol

Makes you look a lil weak.

If Revis plays in the Sehahawks scheme he still wouldn't track WR's. They have principles that they stick to and that's one of them. Sherman doesn't track due to the D not an inability to do so.

PP has all the gifts he needs refinement. Feet and hands. I hope that he masters his craft because he has a chance to be elite for a very long time (barring injury). His physical skillset is absolutely absurd

Truthfully I don't think the average person myself included has firm grasp on the defensive schemes and responsibilities of the different elite corners.

People act like they do but when it comes down to do its all personal bias.
True.  Goes for many positions at the NFL level.
