Tim Tebow is training like a madman for another NFL shot
By Des Bieler July 21

Tim Tebow hasn’t been seen in the NFL since he was cut by the Patriots just before the start of the 2013 season.

If you thought the news that Tim Tebow took a job as an analyst with the SEC Network meant that he had given up on being a quarterback, think again. In a report by Fox’s Phoenix affiliate (say that five times quickly), Tebow talks about how he has been working out at a Scottsdale gym known to be favored by NFL players looking to ramp up their training.

The station caught up with Tebow at Performance Enhancing Professionals (yes, that’s really its name), where the ex-Bronco/Jet/Patriot told it, “I go back and forth, here to L.A., doing a lot of quarterback work there … and come here to get all the therapy, and to get my conditioning in, and I’ve loved it. You know, I feel great. I feel the strongest, healthiest, throwing the best that I ever have, so I’m just really excited about the improvement.”

Tebow’s quarterbacking skills may leave something to be desired (thus far), but it’s hard to knock the effort he seems to be putting into a comeback of sorts. He’s shown doing all sorts of not-fun exercises, including playing a version of beach volleyball that substitutes a medicine ball. That looks brutal.

Asked about that particular workout, Tebow said, “I think one of the greatest things it teaches is just to keep fighting. Maybe when your chips are down, or you’re exhausted, or you feel like you can’t keep going, you know, it just teaches you to continue to keep fighting, and that’s so great for sports.”

Spoken like someone determined to keep fighting to get back into the NFL. Now if only someone could convince the rocked-up Tebow to start taking some tight-end lessons, he might make it.

who's giving this dude another shot?

anyway...

Giants are gonna go through a carousel of backs the entire season. Whether they keep them all on the roster the entire year or not, I can see Jennings, Wilson, Hillis and even Andre Williams getting starts this year.

i wonder how their line will hold up. losing snee hurts even though they might have been somewhat prepared for that news

Line is the biggest question mark. It's pretty much all new people. A few of those RBs could be good if the line blocks. I like Wilson and Jennings. Curious to see Williams, he was okay in college. I don't think the line is gonna be any good so I see the Giants struggling. I think the whole NFCE is average though so it gives the Giants a shot.

Tebow to Pitt so they can't get embarrassed by him again

Tim Tebow probably won't get another NFL shot without playing in the CFL

interesting he's doing that broadcasting job over CFL or AFL. of course, maybe those leagues aren't interested in him :lol

the money is probably better with the broadcasting job, but if he's gonna showcase his skills, i would think the CFL is where he'd start

Of course broadcasting will pay more

But if Tebow is effective in the CFL, he will make 100k-200k with a shot to go back to the NFL

Thats the situation Jesse Palmer was faced with too

Is Tebow as good of a broadcaster as Palmer though?

Whose your team?

The team that's gonna wash your rancid team ***, when they play in the dome this year...just like we beat your *** a few years back...

But you're use to those *** whooping eh...like a little kid who knows that *** whooping is coming from his mom..so he runs up stairs and put on extra pants for padding...yes yes yes yes...go put on as many wranglers as you like..Brett would be proud...the pain won't be as bad young sir...but the embarrassment of you getting that whooping will be.....ohh we're going to slang that leather strap across the browns *** like the old pigskin :)

Revis was wearing some soccer cleats out on the field in drills today. is that typical?

Repped for being a comedic genius.

gordon, blackmon, and rice are clowns.

just wanted to back Tony Dungy on his comments. people cant say what they wanna say with out it being misconstrued. dungy looks like a class act to me. love his persobality.

The lighter cleat thing is overrated

I feel that you need cushioning in your Football cleats considering how large players are

Lynch should hold out. He's the best offensive player on that team.

Tim Tebow is a joke. Just hang up and go bang some models while you're still some what popular.

Marshawn is the best offensive player on the team, but he also plays the least valued position in the league, so...

Seahawks do have some cap space so hopefully he can get a nice bonus raise for this season, skip camp and be chill.

Give him Sidney's money and call it good. Lynch's production in this league will be waning soon. Giving him a long-term deal would be a mistake.

Pretty much

Wish he could retire a Seahawk though
