Because I think most people would be more upset at spying than salary cap violations :lol


i mean $1M in fines and a pick makes it seem more serious than a simple cap violation though. i don't know the details or how true any of that really is though.

i think they tried to be sneaky about it from what i'm reading. it wasn't like, "oh hey NFL, we're going to over spend". they did some funky stuff to try and hide it. i dunno.

i believe it was a delayed payment to elway and davis from what i have heard. they paid a 1 mill fine and a 3rd round pick i think. this is what i found with google.

This isn't the NBA. NFL has a hard cap which means no team can go over the cap no matter what. It what keeps teams like greenbay and Seattle competitive.

teams have circumvented the salary cap. youre not suppose to go over but you can.
