cat's only been in the league two seasons and folks already swear he's the second coming of joe montana.

I agree that luck is a few steps away from proving he's cut from the same cloth as the greats, but I dont see it being so clear as to who will be the best of this young generation of QBs. the jury is still out. I'm not crowning anyone yet.

I have a strong feeling that there's gonna be an argument that is similar to the one between brady, manning and brees

It's his second year 2 playoff appearances and I think he's the best player on his team.

Sometimes you have to look beyond stats and just watch somebody play.

And to me Andrew Luck has IT.

If some people can't see it. I don't know what to say. Because I've seen a lot of QBs. And I think he has what the great ones had.

And I don't think it will be an argument at all. In 5 years Luck will be running things.

Same to me as not understanding how a guy goes thru the last two years of college as one of THEE highest rated draft prospects in the last 30 years, and suddenly within a year another QB just gets anointed as better than him because his team gets 1-2 more wins.

That makes no sense to me, at all. But you're probably ok with that aspect.

But wilson had a better college career than Luck...
All the scouts said that if wilson was 2 inches taller he would of been rated as high as Luck

I remember hearing that if he was taller he might have went 3rd after luck and Bob, never heard rated as highly as luck. I could be wrong though

Why are people giving a pass to Peyton for 05 against Pitt? He was not good at all (though I attribute it to being rested prior, looked real rusty). I hope it isn't being pinned on Vandy, if not for an overturned INT (mistake according to the league) or most improbable fumble it doesn't even get close to being tied

That was the "I'm trying to be a good teammate" game. He was rusty til about the 4th quarter in that game. Had that pick not got overturned its over early in the 4th against a team they destroyed on Monday night a few weeks back.

I'm not saying that he's currently in the discussion but this is Kaepernick's second season, second playoff, and likely second superbowl berth.

kaep isn't the best player on the team, but without him, this niners team aint in the playoffs..idc how good the defense is, no kaep, no 12-4 record and no chance against seattle

It doesnt make sense to you that people might think Russell is better based on their play on the field?

You're really going to compare that to people throwing out a whole bunch of what if situations?

Luck could end up one of the greatest to ever play, why is it so mind boggling that one qb might be outplaying them in his first couple years?

Like I said before...Im cool with Luck being the better qb now and going forward

All this if Luck was on the seahawks talk aint holding weight though

It's all opinion based so I can't be mad, but it's great to talk about from time to time especially with the ones who do more than post close-ended statements and whatnot. I'm not one to tell someone their wrong or right but I just don't buy it's a clear cut A > B in this situation. 

People often discredit Russ for playing with a great defense, run game, etc and claim his role isn't as impactful as Lucks and then get into all type of hypotheticals. Lucks has nearly 200 more pass attempts than Russ through 2 years, yet has 6 less TD's and 9 more INT's. Russ has a YPA  that nearly tops the league in terms of average through this season and last. Something Luck has ranked in the middle to bottom half of the league in both seasons.

All that will be overlooked, though, I guess.
