Speaking of back-ups, I still think Josh Johnson can play. Beast Mode's cousin.

At first I read that as Josh Robinson and could feel my blood pressure rising.

What a performance by the Seahawks tonight. Every defensive player had a standout play it felt like, and that's gotta be one of the most intimidating things to the psyche of an offense. That hit, a backfield loss, etc. could come from anywhere.

So are we to the point with Russell Wilson to where performances like tonight don't really even raise eyebrows?

Like dude was great today made at least 4 :eek throws that I can think of off the top of my head.

One of the rare things in today's world that lives up to the hype.

Seattle would be a bootleg version of KC without him.

As truly great (and I mean GREAT) as some of those throws were, he's been a little more careless with his ball handling as of late. I know his o-line is a mess, but those two lost fumbles were inexcusable. He's better than that.

^ agreed, he has like seven fumbles this year. He makes plays and has some great throws but I'm still not blown away by him. He's better than RGMe though.

This Seahawks secondary be out here getting away with murder, holding... contact after 5 yards... pass interference... they do it all. :{

It's freaking awesome. I know 10027 doesn't want to hear it but I love watching Seattle play, definitely one of my favorite NFC teams

You guys ever listen to "The Sporting Life" on ESPN Radio late night?

They interviewed Richard Sherman and were asking him about trash talking.

He said he hates playing Fitz, because he's impossible to talk trash too.  Sherman would be going hard at him, and Fitz would just say stuff like "man, you're playing so good tonight, keep it up", or "I hope you have a great day after the game, hows the family"

He was talking about it on ESPN Sunday Countdown last week too:

As annoying as it is that Gronk is cleared to play, will he be used heavily right out of the gate?

Realistically. Not in a "Pats/God hates the Jets" type of way.

really no way to tell man . its his first game back so you'd expect him not to get a ton of plays , but at the same time he's literally been present at every regular season practice this year

only time will tell . trust he will help my Pats tremendously in the red zone

On another note, it's been impressive what the Pats have been able to do with them riddled with injuries and the lack of experience at WR.

i saw a mic'd up video for brady during the game. dude's just a leader. he gets everyone to buy in, and carries the team.

Is there some reason I'm missing as to why the Cardinals continue to hand the ball to bum *** Mendenhall? He either gets negative yards or about two at the most. He's worthless. Give Andre Ellington the damn ball.

They don't think he can handle a full work load like that. I'm with you, he's looked good in limited action. He nearly broke that first catch.

And on Ware...he's been like this his entire career, getting injured and playing through it...don't sully his name because the Giants suck this year :lol

That was big of Mike Vick to have a joint pree conference with Nick Foles.

And Case Keenum starting at Kansas City against that defense that just had 10 sacks.... RIP.

i think i posted this in the team thread as well. if there's any silver lining it's that kansas city's defense has been below average in run defense and that helps us because i'm sure kubs plans to baby keenum as much as he can by running the ball into the ground. the biggest issue this team has faced is turning the ball over. they've routinely outgained their opponents in yardage, but haven't turned drives into TDs while settling for FGs, and are giving up scores in the red zone at a terribly high mark. the chiefs don't have the explosiveness to pull away from many teams unless you gift them points so if we cut the TO's we stand a chance. I'm not expecting case to do much, as most undrafted guys don't do well in their first start on the road, but hey that's why they play the games.
