Yeah, but Purdy didn't play in that weather. It hits some people differently, don't tell me it doesn't. And your going to honestly say, with a straight face, that the Eagles (and especially Jalen) are "just happy to be there"? FOH! Your obviously trying to convince yourself that the team will just roll when it gets there and Jalen's speech to the team will be,l something like "guys, just go out and have fun, we're just happy to be here"! If you truly believe this, your on some serious stuff!
Jalen has been overlooked all season. Didn't you notice that the talk all weekend was Mahomes, Allen & Burrow? Yet Jalen was a legitimate MVP candidate up till he got hurt (he should still win the award IMHO and I'm not alone on this). He's been through this stuff many times. The benching at Alabama on prime time tv during the National Championship game. If that doesn't make someone strive for more and give them a serious chip on their shoulder, I don't know what does.
And like X xxpizzo stated already (but I'll add to it) you must have a serious case of amnesia from that Washington game. Jalen threw for 184 with 2TD, ran for 1 TD and his pick was tipped (receiver's fault). They lost because Quez fumbled the ball on a deep pass and Goddert fumbled on that facemask no-call that got him hurt. So no, Jalen didn't have "all kind of mistakes". But you go on with how Jalen makes mistakes.
My score is around 33-20 or in that realm Eagles. You guys scored 19 points on the Cowboys. We scored 34 with our backup QB (and Minchew is not that good). Now that Jalen is healthy (he looks good Saturday) and we have 99% of our roster ready to go (Maddox could play, not sure yet) it will be a fun time. Let's see how Purdy plays in the Linc with the fans, and the noise. We shook Danny Dimes up!
