Yeah. They started in the beginning of May. So about 3 months. It's probably going to be a really cgi heavy movie

If they were going to wrap already, it just made it seem like the stupidest decision not to have any presence at SDCC. :{

When does it come out again? If it's not before they can have something for next year's SDCC. Plus there's always this year's NYCC. I've noticed a lot lately what's being brought to SDCC isn't the best. 2 years ago a few announcements got drowned with all the others and comic announcements got the raw deal so now most comic publishers save their big stuff for NYCC and if you're a studio you may notice that and can grab the opportunity of making big news there too with only comic news to compete with.

Sony Launches Female Superhero Movie Mining Spider-Man Universe

EXCLUSIVE: Having pushed the next installment of its Spider-Man franchise out of 2016 and into 2018, Sony Pictures is doing a top-to-bottom revamp of its most important property, insiders say. And that includes a female superhero movie which is being eyed for a 2017 release date, Deadline has learned.

Sinister Six, the next installment from writer-director Drew Goddard, was announced in April and its release date revealed during this year’s Comic-Con. It will bow November 11, 2016. The villain bash is the first of several planned character and story expansions for the Spider-Man franchise which the studio is hanging onto by developing other character spinoffs — much like Fox has done with its successful X-Men franchise. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing Sinister Six, which revolves around all the villains of Spider-Man converging after the evil Dr. Octopus summons them.

There are a lot of different Sinister Six team-ups so it has yet to be revealed which characters might appear, but one possibility is Vulture, Mysterio, Electro, Kraven the Hunter and Sandman. And Goddard is said to be a supreme comic book geek — not that there’s anything wrong with that — who truly understands all the aspects of the Spider-Man universe and its characters and storylines which is key for that movie and the next. “Having Goddard on board places the movie in the hands of someone who has lived in this world,” said one person who knowledge of the property. “If you look at Cabin In The Woods, he did such a phenomenal job on that in redefining and commenting on the genre while also completely embracing it. He’s a fanboy which compliments his talents as a filmmaker.”

After the villains emerge, get ready for the power of the women from the Spider-Man universe. Which characters they will develop is up for speculation, but we know that Lisa Joy Nolan (Westworld) has been hired to script and that again Arad and Tolmach are producing. There are several strong possibilities — Silver Sable, Black Cat, Stunner, Firestarter and Spider-Woman, to name a few.

Just watched Season 1 of Arrow. Really, really like it. Did not expect to like it that much, but I'm tryin to locate Season 2 real quick so I can be caught up for Season 3 in October.

I want to watch arrow. Everyone is telling me how good season 2 is. 6 episodes through season 1 and I dont think I can make it through.

Sony planning a female led spiderman spinoff and a venom movie aka please give the rights back to Marvel

I am all for a female lead in a superhero movie but this NOT something I want to see. They need to get their main character right first

Arrow is good but it would definitely be better on a different network with a bigger budget and writing that's better than the cw style.

I was impressed with the Flash pilot and how they stayed away from the formulaic concept of keeping his identity secret. They way they handled it in smallville was so bad.

saw something on yahoo/twitter saying something like

"We are 10 films in and Thanos has yet to collect a single Infinity Gem"

yo tell that dude to hurry up mayne!

they better not dupe us like they did in Iron Man 3 and have him never ever get any of them lol

He'll get it...

With Thanos introduced at the end of The Avengers and making an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy, a showdown is already inevitable. That was further reinforced when the actor recently revealed to be playing Thanos, Josh Brolin, came onstage at Marvel's Comic-Con panel wearing an Infinity Gauntlet (a toy one from Hasbro, but still).

Collider caught up to Feige after the presentation, where the commander of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was asked if Brolin's stunt was "a promise" that we would see that storyline eventually played out. He replied:

"I think you could look at it that way, yes. I think that's a pretty clear indicator of where things are going. I think it's clear since Joss wrote Thanos turning around and smirking at the end of Avengers 1. And to finally put an actor with it who you will glimpse also for the first time in Guardians of the Galaxy...he's going places."
