After months of speculation, Paul Rudd has landed the lead in Marvel’s “Ant-Man” and is now in negotiations to play Hank Pym, multiple sources have told TheWrap.

So if negotiations fails, like Disney trying to lowballs Rudd, does that mean he isn't going to be AntMan? Seems like they jumped the gun on the report, no?

Two Actors Eyed For 'Baron Von Strucker' Role In THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Latino-Review (who I would once again like to remind you have had pretty much all of their recent scoops confirmed by trades like Variety and The Hollywood Reporter not too long after dropping them) have revealed some very interesting information about The Avengers: Age of Ultron today. Apparently, Marvel are searching for a Caucasian actor between 40-50 described as a "PHYSICALLY IMPOSING MAN". The role? Baron Von Strucker, one of the main leaders of HYDRA (which seemingly confirms speculation that the organisation will resurface in Captain America: The Winter Soldier). They add that, "in the film Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch work for Baron Von Strucker." However, that's not all! Marvel are apparently looking at Marton Csokas (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Dougray Scott (Strike Back) for the role, but no offer has been made at this point; they're simply two of the actors that the studio are looking at.

"In "Age Of Ultron," Baron Von Strucker is the initial threat, the guy they're fighting at the start of the film. He does not have a major ongoing role in the film, but he is responsible for bringing Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch into contact with the Avengers in the first place, since they start the film working either with or or the Baron. If you look at this like a James Bond movie, Von Strucker's the bad guy they'll take care of in the pre-credits sequence before they move into the main story. Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch have a complicated journey in this film, and the question of whether they're good or bad is one of the big things driving the movie overall."

I was never interested in The Lone Ranger but these commercials for the blu ray I guess actually reveal a whole lot about it that I wasn't aware of given I didn't watch the trailer the first time around.

I still don't want to see it. Seems I'm getting a Depp playing an indigenous person of this land that's going for comedy to play off the rugged serious white hero that's going rogue. Bleh

If LR had the formula of any of the Pirates movie I can see why it really sucked. Can't just have a formula and plug in any type of characters and genre.

Batman-Superman Movie To Get New Draft By Argo Screenwriter

While David Goyer seems to be involved in some capacity with every single Warner Bros. DC comics movie, he won’t be the chief writer on the whole lot.

He was in charge of drafting the upcoming Batman-Superman movie, however.

At least until now.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Terrio has come on board to pen revisions. Given that a lot of pre-production and even some shooting has taken place, don’t expect that he’ll have the latitude to make any drastic changes. We’re still on for, in essential terms, whatever it is that Goyer and Snyder had cooked up in the first place.

Terrio won an Oscar for his script for Argo. He’s definitely got a good relationship with Ben Affleck. I spoke to him, at length, a few weeks before he won the Academy Award. He was smart, interesting, insightful and candid.

But what effect he’ll have on Batman-Superman remains to be seen. Anyway: good hire. I’m even more interested in this picture now.

So kinda good news but still disappointing cuz Goyer and Snyder are still at the helm.

I saw the talk about it elsewhere.

From what I recall, she filmed one scene, it wasn't important at all. Plus she doesn't really matter cuz at the end of X3 she had took the cure anyway.

I'm not mad. It's not Paquin's Rogue was excellent or that I expect there to be some amazing writing here. I'm not about to lower m standards just having my fav mutants show up in this cuz that setting the bar low and setting yourself up for a piss poor showing of said fav mutant. This whole DoFP is a transition period in my eyes.

When we get to the in continuity time paradox/alt dimension X-verse reboot hopefully Rogue is an adult and played by a hot chick that can act.
