Yeah they used that kid that Moira was watching over and I believe Charles was telling her about a technique he knows where he could transfer his consciousness or something to that nature. Forgive me for the vague response, it's been a while since I've watched that film. I have nightmares of cursing juggernauts and underdeveloped cyclops' and shadowcats'
Whoa. Wonder what he means.
Easier said than done and it's too late now especially since First Class pretty much started all over again and now, they are trying to combine both worlds. Fox didn't plan these out like Marvel did but it seems like they do now, which is what everyone wanted. Fox has 2 XMen films now, a Deadpool film in the works along with more Wolverine sequels (depending on what they do with Wolverine in DofP) and an XForce film and it looks like all could link to each other. This is what everyone wanted and they are doing it, it is the beginning of a long process for Fox and I think they should at least get some credit for trying instead of churning out random films that doesn't coincide with the past films and see that is again another problem, even comic book fans loathed that Origns was very inconsistent with the past XFilms and how First Class didn't feel like a prequel to those older films too and by watching, you should know that it is wasn't meant to be but people still complained. That is why they cannot simply make an XMen film out of nowhere that in no way relates to the past films with a whole new cast, it'll just be a bigger problem than trying to solve it.
That's not how it works in Hollywood. To them they think you have to stick with continuity or reboot the franchise completely otherwise fans will all be lost and confused. They're mainly focusing on children/teens when they do that. Even if you change actors for supporting roles the idea is to either stick with continuity or reboot. So the Rhodey in IM2 did what the Rhodey in the first IM did. James Bond in Golden Eye is the same James Bond in Casino Royale (despite that one rumor that every new actor be Bond was a different agent to take on the Bond spy identity as if it were a promotion). So if it's not same continuity you have to retell the story, origins included like they've been doing and most likely will keep doing.^ i just think all of that is unnecessary (especially when you are using one of the great story arcs to do the dirty work).. they should have just gone with a clean break.. and reestablish things..
then you can use the DOFP story line somewhere between movies 3-5.. 1 and 2 should be about introducing guys to the already established team, them fighting sentinels, magneto and juggs
and i dont mean in an "the amazing spider-man" type of way where they retell the story all over again.. we know the characters, we can start in a world where the base x-men are together and exist in this horrible world where they suffer for simply being born different
Title Revealed for the Terminator Reboot?
As the search continues for the new Sarah Connor for the upcoming Terminator reboot, Production Weekly is reporting that the film may have its title. The site reports that "Terminator: Genesis" is the current name for the project, but keep in mind that this early into pre-production, it could simply be a placeholder or undergo a change as the film gets closer to release.
Casting is still coming together for the film which is said to also be looking for a new John Connor and Kyle Reese. It's reported that the production is concentrating on casting Sarah before any of the other roles with Brie Larson and Emilia Clarke said to be the frontrunners.
The first in a stand-alone trilogy, Terminator will be produced by Megan Ellison of Annapurna and David Ellison of Skydance. Dana Goldberg and Paul Schwake of Skydance will serve as executive producers. Laeta Kalorgridis (Avatar, Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry) are attached to write the screenplay.
The Alan Taylor-directed film is slated to hit theaters July 2, 2015.
Also, they are rebooting the Terminator franchise? I thought they were just going to add more to the series?
I like Alan Taylors work though, he did great with Thor2 and of course GoT.
