Same I thought the Marvel movies under Disney were too "soft" and not enough edge.
This last Iron man really proved it.

There is nothing. I hate him so ******g much. I only like him as part of the team. The balance has to be perfect. Then he can occasionally have something funny to say. Uncanny X-Force Vol. 1 had the perfect amount of deadpool. Messiah War had too much deadpool for me.I've never understood the appeal Deadpool has. Could someone explain it to me in non-essay format.
I completely agree. I definitely liked the balance of Deadpool in Uncanny X-Force.There is nothing. I hate him so ******g much. I only like him as part of the team. The balance has to be perfect. Then he can occasionally have something funny to say. Uncanny X-Force Vol. 1 had the perfect amount of deadpool. Messiah War had too much deadpool for me.
I didn't say the character doesn't have those things because they were a retcon. I'm saying Namor being a mutant is a retcon as in he was created before the damn concept of mutants was even created for Marvel. That's why he's not apart of the X-Universe.Yah and Jean Grey being a telepath was also a retcon. As well as Beyonder being Inhuman and Scarlet Witch possessing chaos magic abilities. You can't say that a character doesnt have those things simply because they were retconned.
This is completely irrelevant to what I'm talking about though. An even better example is Vulcan, the third Summers Brother, was not created until 2006 but if you list the order in which characters joined the X-Men he was 14th-ish (including Xavier) and was part of Xaviers secret team meaning he joined before Storm, Colossus, Banshee, and Wolverine despite being created a few decades later. But you can't say he wasnt an X-man because it was a retcon
I've never understood the appeal Deadpool has. Could someone explain it to me in non-essay format.
Ahh I seeI didn't say the character doesn't have those things because they were a retcon. I'm saying Namor being a mutant is a retcon as in he was created before the damn concept of mutants was even created for Marvel. That's why he's not apart of the X-Universe.
There you go again claiming retcons don't countBeyonder aint an Inhuman, that was just some bs Bendis made up in a mini. Chaos magic also made up by Bendis for SC was also more nonsense he made up to explain away her reality manipulation.
This is completely irrelevant to what I'm talking about though.
That is also part of the reason a lot of people hate him.He knows he's in a comic book. So his comments are usually about pop culture or reflect what you would be thinking.
He is also super powerful when you think of his combination of skills, yet his craziness and lazy attitude make him the ultimate hipster.
Kevin Feige Talks DOCTOR STRANGE, A Female Solo Movie And Announcing Future Films
"Doc Strange, as I've been saying for years, is a movie I believe we should make -- we're just figuring out how to make it a great movie. It is in active development right now," Feige told us. "Whether that's one of the movies we announce for 2016 or 2017, we have to see. I think it'll be the middle of next year before we announce officially what the post Ant-Man films will be."
Perhaps saving those reveals for next year's San Diego Comic Con? "Maybe... stuff might happen before that. It's too early to tell."
So they asked Feige straight up whether Marvel will deliver fans a solo female superhero movie before DC. "Good question. I don't know what they're doing or what they're planning,' Feige said. "I know we have numerous exciting female heroes, whether none of them are currently slated, some of them are in development -- frankly, you can look at what Jane Foster does in [Thor: The Dark World], look at Pepper Potts literally saving the day and defeating the bad guy in Iron Man 3, and I'd say we already have great female heroes that are showcased and play major roles in our universe now. Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as you will see, features Black Widow in her biggest role yet in any of our films. In terms of a solo standalone female hero, I'm not sure when that will be. We make two movies a year, we've planned through 2015 and we have some ideas of what we're doing in 2016 and 2017, so we'll see what happens."

“Well, nothing is true yet.”
That’s the bottom line from Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige, who spoke with The Huffington Post about recent casting rumors connecting Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd to the title role in director Edgar Wright’s upcoming Ant-Man. He elaborated a bit more in the case of JGL, who has also been mentioned as a contender for Doctor Strange and was once rumored for the Star-Lord role in Guardians of the Galaxy.
“Sometimes it’s because we are legitimately talking, sometimes it’s just because he’s a prominent actor out there now,” Feige said about why Gordon-Levitt rumors are so persistent these days. “And lots of rumors surround prominent actors.”
Feige even spoke about Vin Diesel’s reported connection to Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, as that casting hasn’t been officially announced.
“I think it’s close,” Feige said. “I think it’s close to being official for the Groot character. But, not 100 percent yet.”
With Ant-Man aiming for a July 2015 release date, expect official casting news sooner than later.
Where in that quote do you see me saying that? All I said was it was BULL **** that Bendis made up.There you go again claiming retcons don't countBeyonder aint an Inhuman, that was just some bs Bendis made up in a mini. Onlooking, admittedly. What goes on in here?
She went to Doom to resurrect her kids weeks after the Wasp reminded her they were dead (apparently her mentor made her forget after realizing how mentally unstable she was and that she was a reality warper). He allegedly manipulated her in to channeling the Life Force. She can't control it, dips and causes Avengers Disassembled, Xavier, Magneto and Strange try to help not knowing she went to Doom, she goes crazy, chaos magic nonsense is brought up, heroes try to do something, too late, House of M, Decimation, and throughout that whole time she still connected to the LF but ends up with amnesia, ended up back in Latveria and fell in love with Doom, about to get married, Young Avengers try to save her, other heroes join in, she loses the LF to Doom who tries to take credit for everything (even though that wouldn't make sense given what happened to him when SC went crazy) but I think he just got his feelings hurt.I don't remember that part in Children's Crusade. Meh whateva.
http://spinoff.comicbookresources.c...-james-spader-for-the-avengers-age-of-ultron/Marvel’s Kevin Feige on Casting James Spader For ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’
So … why James Spader?
It’s a question a lot of fans unfamiliar with the actor’s work asked when he was announced as the titular robot nemesis of Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. For one, Spader isn’t exactly a marquee name these days, despite his work on NBC’s The Blacklist. Besides, Ultron’s just a robot, right? Why not hire an A-list actor for the voice work, a la Bradley Cooper as Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Rocket Raccoon?
Foolish considerations, all of them. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige tells The Huffington Post that Ultron “will be more than a voice role,” with Marvel planning to capture Spader’s “face and his body to create a whole performance.” When imagining Spader’s snarling grin and snarky one-liners, it’s easy to see why both of those fit well within Marvel’s vision of Ultron.
“He’s a very unique and incredibly exciting and unpredictable actor,” Feige said. “And Ultron in the comics is a robot, but what’s cool about him in the comics — and certainly how Joss Whedon is interpreting him for the movie — is that he is much more than just a robot. That he’s infused with much character. And I don’t want to say too much, but you can imagine James Spader will be very dynamic in his portrayal of the character.”
“We did not hire James Spader to do a robot voice,” he added.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.

Here’s a surprise and, by my measure, something of a pleasant one. According to Ben Kingsley, he’s already followed up on Iron Man 3 and shot something else for Marvel studios.
Here’s the quote from the Belfast Telegraph, as indicated by Coming Soon:
It’s a secret Marvel project. I’m not allowed to say any more, you’re going to have to wait and see. I was with many members of the crew that were involved with Iron Man 3. It was lovely to see them again. It was great to be with this wonderful family.
To pick that apart until it’s a pile of atoms, I suppose we could surmise the following:
That Kingsley was sanctioned by Marvel to release this info but precisely this info. How’s that for a PR operation?
That it was already filmed, suggesting it’s going to be ready for consumption before too long.
That Kingsley will be reprising his Iron Man 3 character. That could go in many, many directions.
That looking at the Iron Man 3 crew should indicate some of the folk who worked on this secret project.
But when you try to add those pieces back together, the picture is still a little fuzzy.
If I were a betting man, I’d say that this is for one of the company’s One Shot short films, and that it will be included on the Thor 2 Blu-Ray release. I think that’s near as certain.
It could also be a cameo in one of the features, or something for one of their end-credit tag scenes – Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy are already in the can, maybe they have a little callback tag?
Or, on the absolute outside, it could be something for Agents of SHIELD. But I’m rather sure that it won’t be.
im so confusedShe went to Doom to resurrect her kids weeks after the Wasp reminded her they were dead (apparently her mentor made her forget after realizing how mentally unstable she was and that she was a reality warper). Those are the basic sequence of events.
There were still mutants after House of M/Decimation but only like around 200. Millions lost their powers though (and many died).im so confused
i thought there were no mor e mutants in house of m or something
please clarify(simplify) the storyline for me
sidenote: an old man logan cartoon film would be dope
Ooooooooooooh.

So Loki's staff had the mind gem? How did I not catch that before? Now the power gem will make an appearance in the new Thor movie? Dope. Can't wait. They're setting up the Infinity Gauntlet/Thanos nicely.
