Most people here get Monday and Tuesday off - some retail will be in on Monday - and a lot on Tuesday - but "regular jobs" are off those days. We always get 2 days off for New Year and because it's a Sunday they go into the week.

I worked the past 2 years and got sent home early cus of no customers. This was the first year I had no plans and could of worked but was off. Pay is double time too I think.

I know how it feels working the holidays. This New Years' I'm winning b/c I have a 3 day weekend from this past Saturday to Monday off. First 3 day weekend I've had since maybe high school.
