Been reading that this vid might be kinda racist, what y'all think?

PS - the song is decent, I like the hard electro sound tho. And I wanna copp the jacket

Wow. Great job of capturing the mood of the song. I'm sold. 100%.

Love how they had d.a.n.c.e. on the radio and kicked that junk out.

Racist? C'mon. Unless there is some other underlying tone to this video, there seems to be rebellious youth all over the world, no matter what color youare.

Not racist at all. That kind of stuff goes on all the time in the suburbs of Paris. This video just puts a different spin on it. The suburbs over there arebasically ghettos populated by African and Middle Easterm/Northern African immigrants who have time and again been both the victims and cause of the manysocial ills brought about by illegal immigration into the country.

Just watched it.. Vid is sick. No racism at all. Plus two of the gang members were white so that makes it ok.

If you thought that was strong go search a video on YouTube by a French rap group. It's an extra scene from the film "Sheitane". The name of thesong is Batards de Barbares and produced by the same video film company that made this video (Kourtrajme). I personally think it's vile and disgusting. Many of these people are also heavily involved in the riots that have taken place throughout Paris over the last 5-10 years. I loved La Haine because it was agreat film with a conscience, but stuff like this, which exploits violence for the hell of it is pointless and only serves to further divide the socialdifferences which exist in France.

^Have you seen Banlieu 13? Video kinda reminds me of the movie.

and yeah, the part where they smash the radio when D.A.N.C.E. was awesome

maybe Justice hates the track and the commercialism it brought

i don't think they hate it. i think the underlying message there is that justice doesn't stick toone sound or one concept, and they want to create a badass atmosphere with this song, opposite of that which D.A.N.C.E. brought.

sick vid if you ask me...and racist? i don't think so. really dope. vid felt like a movie and the music is like the score.

...and i wouldn't mind that jacket.

man, i wish i can do that type of shh and get away with it around here...that's my state of mind when i'm listenin to some gritty music.

I have seen it. I like a lot of Luc Besson's movies, though that one tended to be a bit more out there/surreal as far as the plot went.

I agree.

I absolutely LOVE this video. Justice has been on point with their album and their videos. And yes immigrants in France are gritty.

Song & Vid are hot, but I don't see how their message of African & Middle Eastern youth terrorizing French citizens isn't a message.

Well I've heard immigrants in France get treated like crap (even more so than in the States)

anyone ever experience this

I'm not sure that's true, they are using "Genesis" for Cadillac commercials right now, but that might not be their choice.
The video is sick though, I have not seen a video that has been anything less than amazing from Justice. "D.A.N.C.E." and "DVNO"were both phenomenal videos.

Awesome video but I'm still scratching my head as to why they made a video for a two year-old song when they could have just done one for the remix on EdRec Vol 3.
