what assumptions...hell someone posted the article in here. Which is what im basing it off of. He was a well typical kid up until his later teenage years shortly after his father died. So where is the assumption in that. This is his mothers and high school coach and lil league football coach words. Which are more credible then yours. You made a bunch of assumptions about him too based off the fact that he went to college but ok . You got it bro hes frontin.
Fair enough. People were making it seem like they needed to know the motive so that they would have a reason to feel sympathetic for him, at least thats how I took it.I'm dying to know the motive.I dont understand the fascination with wanting to know the motive. Same with the Millburn NJ home invasion guy. Will the motive really do that much in terms of changing your opinion? There are few reasons where such actions are justified and I'm willing to bet that neither Hernandez or that guy were in such situations. Its irellevant IMO.
Personally it's not changing my opinion on if it was justified.
I just need to know what caused him to pull off one of the worst-executed crimes in history.
Was he sloppy cause he was in a rage? Paranoid? Or just plain stupid?
Apparently I've grown to old for this whole damn site now. I thought S&T was the last place of refuge.
I actually now jeezy and no he is not a thug....hell I knew him when he was lil j. Thug he is not.... Did he kick it associate with thugs/dealers sure. But one himself nah.... But im not trying to feel empathy or exhaust him of anything he may or may have done.So he couldnt change? Things like the death of a parent does that to people. His Mom? Of course shes going to talk about him in apositive light, same with the other two people you mentioned, like you siad he was a kid then. You made the assumption that thugs dont go to D1 schools. We are all aware he didnt grow up thuggin, a lot of people dont., those are things that happen when youre old enough to make the choice to do so. Its not like little kids care about thug activities like that. Young Jeezy is in fact a thug sir.
Fair enough. People were making it seem like they needed to know the motive so that they would have a reason to feel sympathetic for him, at least thats how I took it.

DORCHESTER, Mass. – Standing outside Odin Lloyd's funeral, Boston Bandits general manger Mike Branch wants to make something clear: "Odin wasn't a drug dealer. He was not no drug dealer. He was hanging with the wrong person."
Sitting on the front steps of his family's house in Dorchester, Safiro Furtado's cousin is upset about how his slain cousin has been characterized. "Oh is he gang-related? Is he in a gang?" people ask him. "That's how they make it seem," the cousin says. "Far from it."
at No thugs/goons/ ****** in gangs etc in college
Teenaged Aaron Hernandez Punched A Bar Employee After Refusing To Pay
Aaron Hernandez sucker-punched a Gainesville bar employee in 2007, injuring the man seriously enough that police recommended felony charges be brought against the then 17-year-old Florida Gators player.
That's according to a police report acquired by the Wall Street Journal, in which authorities say the underaged Hernandez consumed two "alcoholic drinks" at popular student bar The Swamp before assaulting an employee who demanded he pay up. The punch left bar manager Michael Taphorn with a ruptured eardrum, and police recommended Hernandez be arrested on felony assault charges.
Why, then, wasn't he? That's a great question. The state attorney for Alachua County's district, Bill Cervone, professed ignorance to the Hernandez felony assault recommendation. (Cervone donates between $1,800 and $2,299 a year to the Florida football program.) Later in 2007, Hernandez would be brought in for questioning in regard to a Gainesville nightclub shooting.
Hernandez went on to appear in five games for the Gators that 2007 season, catching two touchdown passes from Tim Tebow.
Hernandez Saw Trouble at Florida
Report Shows That After a Bar Fight, Police Recommended a Charge of Felony Battery
As prosecutors prepare to try former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on murder and gun charges, new details have emerged about a 2007 bar fight at the University of Florida that suggest the incident was far from trivial.
According to a 2007 police report obtained Monday by The Wall Street Journal, Hernandez had a brush with the law at Florida before he'd even played a down.
On May 4, 2007, only months after Hernandez had enrolled at Florida, he showed up at a restaurant called The Swamp near Florida's campus in Gainesville, Fla., a two-story bar and grill that features framed jerseys of former Florida stars.
Aaron Hernandez DOMESTIC INCIDENT with Fiancee in L.A. Area
TMZ.com
Aaron Hernandez was involved in a domestic incident with his fiancée a year ago that sent cops racing to his rental home in a beachside community in L.A. ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us Hernandez was renting a place in Hermosa Beach in June, 2012, when a neighbor called police to report a domestic disturbance -- "fighting" -- between the ex-Patriots star and his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins inside his home.
We're told when police arrived, Jenkins said she was ok and didn't want to press charges so they left without making an arrest.
Law enforcement sources also tell us ... cops came to the house several other times after neighbors made noise complaints. One source says Hernandez "acted like an a**hole" when cops responded.
Our sources say Hernandez still has the rental home. Our law enforcement sources say so far ... cops have not obtained a warrant to search the apartment.

Hate how football players get away with everything in Murica. Even high school football players :x
I know it happens with different sports in other countries too, but in many parts of the US, high school athletes are treated like Gods (hint hint :Steubenville). The problem is that these players get a sense of entitlement as kids and think they can get away with anything. That's a bad combination when you're dealing with thugs like Hernandez.Hate how football players get away with everything in Murica. Even high school football players
The God-status some of these players attain is more or less confined to Southern states. And super star athletes get special priveleges all over the world. Not just in the United States. Please take that 'Murica' rhetoric elsewhere .
And damn Aaron
Dude has problems.

No worries. I see where you're coming from too.Very true. I apologize if i came off agressively. I just thought you generalized a tad bit. In certain states/cities/towns, your on field production gets you off field priveleges. In other areas, it doesnt.I know it happens with different sports in other countries too, but in many parts of the US, high school athletes are treated like Gods (hint hint :Steubenville). However theres no doubt this is the case with Hernandez . There was a report on the radio (havent seen it in this thread yet) that he was a passenger in a car driven by Bradley (the man he shot in the face) . Bradley was driving drunk going 100+ mph in a Yukon. When pulled over, Hernandez leans over from the passenger seat and says "its okay trooper, im Aaron Hernandez".
Seems Aaron figured he was untouchable.
