Impossible? As big as this case is, teams could very easily not want to sign him due to the media circus & negative press that'll likely follow. Even if he gets beats the charges, it's likely due to the lack of a murder weapon and the circumstantial evidence is too strong to ignore that in all likelihood dude was involved in a murder, had illegal guns, etc. You're nuts.

Chad, and TO were considered past their prime and iversons ego and unwillingness to come off the bench is why no one signed him.
Aaron Hernandez is just 23 and is a pretty good tight end. If a team like the raiders had a hole at tight end I could see them giving him a shot. If he can perform and be productive he'll be of use to a team, especially one with a hole at tight end.
That said I see this case dragging out for a while.

Y'all are stupid if you think he'll ever be signed to an nfl team again. Doesn't matter if he's found not guilty.

All it takes is 1 team to sign him. Certian teams cowboys and raiders for example have a history of signing troubled players. Look at how many criminals with a violent history are playing in the NFL. Sure it will be some negative backlash initially but it will eventually go away.
Dude isn't a bum, he's 23 and a pro bowl player. If he could be had for cheap a team will sign him.
Now him actually beating the case, that's a whole other story, but if he does its very possible he plays again.

It just takes one owner to take a chance on him.

Are you guys forgetting that he's been a member of the Patriots his whole career and never caused a single problem in the locker room or field til this all came about? Best believe somebody is going to sign a young Pro Bowl tight end if he's found not guilty and free to play football again. Vick was doing crazy sick **** to dogs for years and people act like that didn't even happen at this point.

after the fact Patriots players did come out and mention that he was a bit off and knew he was up to no good and chose not to associate themselves with him including the locker room...teams might want to sign him, but King Goodell will not let that boy in...somehow i think the fact he might have been linked to taking human lives will hold more weight to the overall public than what Vick did

When Hernandez was a rookie he coudln't get the video monitor to work so he asked Welker for help and Welker replied "figure it out yourself rookie"

That's exactly why he won't play again. I have no problem with the idea that great defense attorneys can help him beat the case if there are enough holes in the case, I don't think it's right but that's how the law works. Thing is, we all know that there's at least a 50% chance he killed dude (I guess 33.3% because there were 3 of them) but even if he didn't, he was part of it. NFL teams know that and it's way too damning, the backlash a team would get would outweigh his athletic ability.
Anyone know if in MA you have to be the triggerman to be convicted? No idea if it changes with a 1st degree murder distinction or what.

They actually were never able to do it to Iverson as much as Stern wanted to. And Chad and TO are not undeniable talents anymore. As people have said, an owner will give him a chance. It's not congress, but blatantly discriminating against someone in such spot light when he wasn't even found guilty aint happening. A team can choose not to take that chance, but plenty of teams will unless that choice is removed from them which won't be possible.
