Reebok Answer 1’s in black/gold for $69.97 at WSS today. My bro and I scooped up our sizes before they toss them in to the clearance aisles in the back and crush the boxes up

Yep, looks like Feb 17 is the official drop date for the Pump TZ. They're listed with the same countdown on Reebok's US site as of this morning. I guess that was an early Christmas drop we saw before.

Whoah! I discovered thrash metal while wearing these. They were my new sneakers going into freshman year of high school in 1991. The model name is The Boulevard. Here's the only photo I have of me rocking them awkwardly, along with a photo of a deadstock pair w/original box that I found once doing a deep dive. There was a much more common version with the Pump, but this one seems to be largely forgotten. Thanks for posting.

I un-deadstocked this pair from 2013 since I just bought the 2022 version. Yeah, the insoles disintegrated like I thought they would. I swapped in some running shoes and was good to go.

So I decided to cop the Answer IV when it dropped last week and got them in yesterday - $170 was definitely steep for these. The quality is actually pretty good but, considering they don’t have the DMX cushioning, I’m debating on if I’ll keep them. I really do like the tumbled leather, though.
