New NDC launch process

I despise fnl's spa screen for launch products. Never been able to purchase anything before so I just stopped trying. It's been ndc or bust, now I guess I have no choice but to try and hope ndc's new method is nothing like fnl's and better.

My hope is that this is not like fnl. I despise finishlines launch process, their website ends up not allowing you to purchase any shoe not just launch shoes. The last bred launch I tried to order some air max' for my wife but got one of those goddamn count down timers, pissed me off. Hopefully nike's really is limited just to whatever launch product instead of the whole damn site. It's a turn off for regular everyday customers if they get a countdown when they want product x y or z not product a and can't get through. Awful awful awful customer experience. Anything that puts a barrier in the click though order process loses money for etailers, so hopefully nike recognizes that.

It's just gonna be for high demand launches. Not every product

Yup, this had no effect except delaying my check out time..  I honestly able to get more sneakers because of the delay.. Im sure they nike will be trying to tweak the process more...  THey should just leave it alone...  THey already have sites with delay check out..  NDC needs to get on the level of amazon and there server capabilities!

NDC is a lot better now at handling traffic compared to when the CONCORDS dropped.

Of course. But they made the announcement right before this release. Figured at least one of the shoes dropping today would utilize the system.

Yeah but this new system only hurts the consumers, not the resellers. You've already got west coasters waking up at 5am to try and get these shoes, now they're going to have to wait in line just for a chance to get them?!

And to the argument of going to other sites, Nike will only lose that business because people won't buy there. Obviously the shoes will still sell regardless but Nike wants to be to go to source.

I have a feeling this is only a temporary fix, and something else will be done to combat the cheating. I don't even get NDC releases like that, I just hate it for the people who CAN'T because of bots and resellers.

Nike isn't losing business.

High demand items are going to sell out regardless.

it happened on my easter kobes, i guess i was early, cause it went through. i think i even almost got 2 pairs in my cart but it ssaid theres a limit of 1... i like the system so far

Just about all the major releases are TLO. And even that's a crap shoot. I've recently had more luck on eastbay and footlocker to be honest with you. Thanks for serving overseas for us!

I copped a pair of the Kobes and didn't get the message on my desktop. I guess I was one of the first ones. Thanks for the screen shots though. Makes sense now they deployed that new system.
