New Maxim Trainer??????

Is this new news?? i hate the fusion idea but would have liked them as just the color way..

I just picked up a pair for $100 shipped. Once they come in I will post pics and comparo shots for you all.

I figured for $100 I can keep my retro Chlorophylls DS a little longer. I will post up ASAP!

I received my Maxim trainers in today. Here are some pics, my initial thoughts and comparo with the retro OG air trainer 1s.

I have to say for a "hybrid/tribute" shoe I dont mind this. I dare to say Nike may have gotten it right with this one. The shoe has all the newtechnology but tips a hat to the OG. The shoe is light and like others have said, the SUEDE is great and welcomed addition. The one thing I kinda DISLIKE isthe printed or painted on logos.

As you can see the shoe is made pretty well. I love the green tipped laces.

Now some comparo shots with the Retro OG AT1....

My final thoughts are the shoe is good for what it is. Def comfy, light, and I have to say very well made. It just gets me mad that JORDAN BRAND cannot maketheir shoes as well as the Trainers. But oh well...what can you do? I plan on wearing these as a daily beater and keep my retros a DS a little longer. Ithink $120 maybe a little high, but if you can get a good deal it is not a bad shoe at all.
