Yo as biased as I am for Ray. (no JRAIN) I know he is a good back but he aint going higher then round 2 AT BEST. He really has no upside like alot of the otherbacks do and he isnt gonna blow people away at the comine except maybe on the bench.
However, he has all the intangibles (in that Mike Hart sorta way) to be a productive player but aint nothing sexy about how he plays the RB position. He woulddo wonders in a scheme where he can make one cut and get downhill but unless someone falls in love with him players with little upside do not go high.
One of my boys was like "yooo he going right after McFadden" I was like you stupid.
11. Buffalo Bills
Record: 7-9
Scouts Inc.'s biggest needs: TE, CB, WR, LB, DT
Projected pick: DeSean Jackson*, WR, California
Jackson could join forces with former Cal teammate and current Bills RB Marshawn Lynch to give Buffalo one of the most exciting young offensive skill groups in the NFL. Jackson still has room to improve as a route-runner and he must get stronger in order to endure a 16-game NFL schedule. Much like Ted Ginn Jr. (No. 9 overall to Miami last season), however, Jackson's home run ability after the catch, on vertical routes and returning punts will be too tempting for a team with a top-15 draft pick to pass on.
I like the pick but i still say we need help on defense first.....

and I aint talked to Zant since Thnksgiving but Trav said Zant will take a fair deal from Pats as long as his Bonus is SUPER.
But keep in mind, Zant is a South Floridian
at least he got a Big Business Bonus ...
That bonus is all that matters on an NFL contract, though. The yearly salaries ain't guaranteed, so it's damn near irrelevant. That moneyup front is almost all that matters. And Zant will be getting his Big Business Bonus from somebody this spring, whether it's from the Patriots or not.
2012: $9 million, 2013: $10.77 million, 2014: $15.48 million
So, Nate essentially got a 5 year deal worth about 45 mil, assuming they even keep him through 2011... It's still a nice chunk ofchange, but it doesn't look as overwhelming as 8/80.
Where do you get these contract numbers from?
