If you've never had the pleasure to hold a pair of OG's or 90's retros then you should make this a priority as a collector/lover/wearer/admirer of NIKE. comparison if you want to call it that.. These new "nikes" look like fakes compared to the real deal 97 retros


Where to start:
-real suede toebox that HAS a true brushable and visible nap..
-Softest tumbled leather you will ever see.
-colorway is on point with the variations of the darker and ligther grey.

this latest raider retro is COMPLETE and utter CRAP. but people love their crap apparently

I appreciate the answers. For the record, I was around when the OG's dropped. I was just curious as to the fuss. I've already given up on Nikebringin' back tumbled leather, I know I'm getting $@%@@+ vinyl instead of good leather. I just...nvm. I wasn't coppin anyways but I'm an SC fanfrom way back. I can see the points being made & they're true. But it's Nike, I wasn't expecting them to do much better or worse.

The SC retro turned out better than the medicine balls, which weren't that bad. that red colorway posted above is not that bright a red in person. prettydull red in person and definitely not worth retail, imo.
