they took over day to day operations for escobar when carlos ledher went to jail
Yeah, this girl is so far the sexiest of the bunch. Straight fireStephanie Sigman, the actress who plays Valeria Velez
If Escobar never went into politics would he have been ok?
It seems like that's where his problems came from
I think the U.S. would've eventually stepped in later down the line.?Not going into politics would have pro-longed his reign/life though.
His whole point of getting into politics was immunity and no extradition. That was his long term goal. Problem is, when that didn't work.....he turned to an outright Narco-Terrorist as opposed to big time Drug Lord.
was it ever revealed who claimed responsibility for the apartment complex bombing from the beginning of Ep. 9, i think ?
ive only found articles documenting that it had happened but no mention of who supposedly set it off (Cali Cartel, communists, gov't maybe)
did pena set up murphy? or was it the black guy?
I think the journalist who was with the Cali leader snitched out his whereabouts. Pablo did just kill 12/15 of his men. And the chick slipped up on where Pablo and his family would be staying at
She didn't snitch on purpose. When she was explaining to the Cali Cartel guy how she wouldn't want to be his wife waiting around at the blah blah hotel. He realized all he had to do was stake it out for Pablo.
She realized her mistake when they called to report the bombing.

Word
Gacha committed suicide by grenade in real life
they shoulda did that instead
One thing I like about this show is that it doesn't really paint Pablo as that much of a sympathetic character.
As much as I enjoy Blow as a movie, it felt it tried to make the audience sympathize with Boston George too much.
As soon as the movie was over I was like "Good, hop your daughter never goes to visit your crusty ***, die slow old man"
Pablo was a damb terrorist, I shake my head at folk that seriously show some type of admiration for him or glorify his "accomplishments'. Same with what it going on with El Chapo now
Can't wait till they show him getting murked
It all depends in who's eyes, there were people in Medellin that cried when he died. To some he was labeled terrorist, to others he was labeled a heroAll of this.
It blows my mind when dudes say dumb **** like they look up to Pablo or Free Chapo. Like these dudes are certified terrorist with no code or ethics to whom they'd kill lol.
On the other end of the spectrum though...I loved how Pablo was portrayed as very human...but you could see how easily he could turn sinister in a mili-second. Like those close to him like Gustavo, Ochoa bros, etc.....weren't afraid to call him out or voice their opinions. In other depictions of Pablo, he's always this largely sinister guy 99% of the time, with little charisma.
It also showed how smart and short-sighted Pablo really was.
