He's not. He literally refers to himself as "Cablinasian"
Just because they treat him as black don't make him black. He's just as much asian as he is black. It's weird af how people mixed with black can be black can assimilate into being black and not the other race(s) that they're mixed with, like why isn't he Asian excellence or some **** but that's another story for another time.

Brad Stevens is the best and smartest coach in the NBA. It’s amazing what he’s getting out of this riffraf on the Celtics.
