Celtics struggling to beat the Pacers...yet they getting out the east :lol

I'm one of the biggest Jazz people here and picked HOU in 5. It's moreso the Harden hate

I said this would be an exciting scrappy 5 game series and I’m sticking to that. Expecting the Jazz to win game 4 out of desperation then get closed out game 5

I don't know if he peaked but he's definitely on that Ben Simmons tip where it's not really an improvement from last season.
Mitchell improved his 3 point efficiency and considering his teammates, holding serve on the other scoring numbers he put up is impressive. Ingles and Rubio regressed big time. Crowder is supposed to be their stretch 4 and shoots 33% from 3

Defenses literally do not have to worry about anyone else outside of Rudy's rim running

The Rockets remind me of D'Antoni's 7 seconds or less Phoenix Suns of yesteryear in that his regular season juggernauts beat everyone else during the season but when it was time to face the Spurs in the playoffs his Suns couldn't overcome the great Popovich. Much like his current squad still having difficulty getting past Kerr in the postseason.

MDA's Rockets have only played Kerr's Warriors once. And they took them to 7 and were up 3-2 before CP3 got hurt

yeah kerr is the reason they cant beat the warriors...
still get your point tho, but harden >> nash

:rollin This is hilarious to read.

SF media really trying to cape for Durant saying that he's receiving the same criticism as the likes of LeBron if they don't win A PLAYOFF GAME. Please! All the outrage was Durant should be able to handle a smaller defender. The writer tries to say that everyone expects Durant to put up big numbers to win, which isn't remotely close to true and is the whole point that there is no real expectation on Durant because he has 3 other hall of fame players that can still win a game without his scoring. He got scorched for about 30 hours on the internet and TV but noone cares once Game 3 starts.

KD can literally have an appalling game, but it gets buried by the fact that we all expect them to win out in the end so it softens the amount of real criticism he can get because people would look foolish if they said that one game means the end of the Warriors.

Also is this isn't a huge middle finger, and only how most people view Durant's last 3 seasons, the writer drops this gem:
"He’s just a preposterously talented cog in the system"

True, there's not much of a sample size but....

Next round when Rockets play Warriors is going to be the biggest series of D'Antoni's coaching career. If Rockets beat Warriors, I will finally be able to tip my hat to him. I never thought he was a good coach because I always felt he couldn't adapt his teams defensively to adjust to playoff style basketball. We shall see soon...

Anyone else not minding the shorter length shorts other than Kelly Oubre and that one dude from the Hawks, Collins I think ?

D'Antoni's Rockets are definitely better than his Suns teams as far as being equipped for the style of basketball that's needed to win in the postseason. I agree Harden >> Nash and in the playoffs, Capela >> Stoudemire, and CP3 >> anyone else on that Sun's team.

Warriors are the most talented team of all time and still the prohibitive favorite by a decent margin. Most will find it hard to knock him unless he's vastly outcoached

What?
You okay?

You heard me

Warriors of last year and this year being "the most talented team of all time" is highly debatable. '85-'87 Lakers would annihilate them imho, and so would the '96-'98 Bulls. But that's a debate for another day. For the record, I have the Warriors losing this year (possibly to HOU) but if GSW faces MIL in the Finals, Bucks gonna take the trophy.

D'Antoni has been vastly outcoached several times in his career during the postseason, including his ridiculous tenure with the Lakers.

You late as hell :lol but yeah I can’t even play in anything but the above the knee shorts now
