I’m just glad I don’t have to watch Ben Simmons masquerade as a point guard for the remainder of the playoffs. 3 years in, has unlimited access to a gym, and he still can’t shoot!? Nah, I’m not buying no excuses for this dude.

I know one thing, Ben Simmons better come back next year with a 15-18 foot jump shot

Magic Johnson will train him now

We not slandering Kawhi for taking 39 shots??
(16/39 41%)
Russ would be getting killed

Or is it because they won???

I'm a Russ fan, but STOP IT right now....

Kawhi was taking good shots & most importantly hitting crucial shot after crucial shot. I can excuse you for missing shots when your also busting your *** on Defense & making them when the team needs em most.

You may be right. Im basing this entirely on his warmups and **** because he rarely shoots it in the game. Im also talking about a 10-15 footer and not a 3, but i doubt a guy who refuses to shoot is going to all of a sudden change his entire makeup
I've seen him warm up before. He makes his shots but i don't the way he shoots around helps him with shooting at game speed. He has a very lazy shoot around routine. Reminds me of when people shoot around at half speed at the park all alone cuz they're bored.

Whole Raptors team minus Kawhi was scared to shoot the ball. All of em. Sixers still couldn't beat them LMAO

And Siakim is scary in a bad way. Can son shoot at all? Or is he the Ben Simmons type?

He can shoot, he was just scared like basically everyone except for Kawhi. :lol

Westbrook shot 36% these playoffs. Think about how bad that is. A game you think Kawhi should be getting killed for would be way better than an average Russ playoff game.

Not to mention the defensive side of the ball.

Also seeing Everyone on Toronto's roster not named Sege Ibaka clinch up yesterday does not seem beneficial to him staying there :smh:.

Also in much lesser news Canadian Clarkson cannot be your second option if the Nuggets want to get anywhere, they need to make something happen in FA this offseason also.

Gotta give props to dame Lillard, he fell back and let CJ Do his thing.

Fing Westbrook wouldn’t do that.

True leadership skills right there by dame and cj. Trusting each other to know it’s a team sport not a one man rodeo.

ehhhh i get it you don't want your player forcing it when another guy is going, but Dame gotta catch some flack for that performance. he had a horrible offensive game in a game 7 when they needed Dame time the most.

He put up 24, 6 and 5 in the series at 22 year old going up against 2 elite guards and loss in a game 7 that came down to the wire.

The Denver Nuggets will be fine with Jamal Murray as a 2nd option.

Plus I’ve never heard a dude say “cool we won, but I’m upset that I shot 39%” :lol

If fine means second round yearly & MAYBE crack a conference finals at some point then yea sure. but unless his game drastically changes over the next few years him as your second option will never cut it.

He's a extremely streaky player, who is an average playmaker, doesn't get to the basket much, and is a horrible defender. Granted he's still young, but players with those things as a base haven't exactly been known to push teams over in the playoffs.

I still can’t believe Simmons didn’t even come with the double just let Embiid catch the fade
Simmons was chasing kawhi and embiid cut Simmons off instead of cutting kawhi off to the corner. So unless you wanted Ben to steamroll into Joel, the whole situation was messed up

I actually live in Toronto so it's kind of my "home team". Lol never lived in Philly.

If there was a team that I wouldn't mind beating the Sixers it was Toronto. At least I still get to see the conference finals and potential finals.

My expectations were realistic, I always saw Toronto as the better team before this series started, the biggest encouraging improvement I've seen was from coach Brown. It was a classic game and it I loved it.

Philly has A LOT to figure out. This will be an interesting summer for us. I just hope they don't use Brown as the scapegoat.
I live in Toronto too

There is no way in HELL Raptors were the better team.

They explained why the hell simmons just didn’t double team him.
