"I'm not going to name the brand of shoe it was, but it has been banned from our locker room and the guys aren't allowed to wear it," Kander told the Detroit Free Press. "These shoes had taken most of the support out of the sides and it was a lighter shoe. Most basketball shoes weigh between 1.4 and 1.7 pounds.
"These shoes were weighing 0.8 pounds, which was way too light as far as side support. Since we've banned the shoe, knock on wood, we haven't had any ankle sprains. Hopefully, the good Lord willing, we won't have any more and we can finish the season healthy and see what these guys can really do.
"We've had a couple of bumps and bruises, but nothing like we had the first part of the season."
Many thanks for the info man. I had already looked through 9 pages on getty's site before coming here, obviously to no availOriginally Posted by Blazers21NTNP

The 2007 NBA All-Star game was played on February 18, 2007--which was when JB athletes debuted the XX2s on-court in the All-Star colourways. After the All-Star break, Joe Johnson only played in 9 games before shutting it down for the season, 4 of which were home games. (The Hawks wore black kicks on the road)
Here's some photos of him from those 4 home games:
The following season, '07-'08, the Hawks gave their look a major overhaul, and the only time he wore an old colourway PE was during a pre-season game against Charlotte:
The only Air Jordan XX2 he wore on-court in a Hawks uniform was the 'XX2 PE' model in a White/Navy-Red colourway during the first half of the '07-'08 season:

That's very interesting for real...as Gordon and Bynum had been wearing the Kobe 4's...But I'm a bit stumped about Rip as he's been wearing the Retro 12s for a few weeks now and they definitely ain't 0.8 lbs...
