i play on ball 90% of the time and i live with the results good or bad. having lock down defenders help.

you already know i'm loving the rules for the next league. the draft is gonna feel different since its gonna have the most updated ratings for mostplayers.
 
Nah I play On Ball D as well but I mix it up I dont play more of either I play on and off..... and if I decide to playy off or on at any point in the game Ican have that right since this is not a real sim league and im 16-5 and I dont cheese ask crag so I think I know whats right and wrong
 
I play off ball D when one players killin me shootin.

For example i think it was Craig who was killin me with Deron Williams Jumper so i played off ball.

Pump fakes n what not i always bite and they always get a wide open jumpshot. Or i dont jump at all and they drill it cuz its basically an open shot anyway.
Too hard to determine if theyre gonna shoot or not. For me at least IMO. I dont really care if you guys are good at it.

Or il just play zone.

Edit: not half bad we got half the other league filled.
Looking at what we got in this leaugue. These players im assuming will sign up.

im down, i wish we would do the team one, i dont like fantasy draft, but im down for anything, cant wait, im off of school soon, so ill play more

hope the the new rules are enforced, it will help me sim up my game more

with all this new league talk, why don't we just start the playoffs already. unless the people outside the box are trying to make a quick run to get aplayoff spot.

You wouldn't be 16-5 without the insane amount of PIP you scored in the first 10 - 12 games.

It should be a sim league though, thats the only way to determine who is really the best. Not just who can lob it in the paint and dunk continuously or who canrun back and forth enough to get open and get a wide open shot every time.

with all this new league talk, why don't we just start the playoffs already. unless the people outside the box are trying to make a quick run to get a playoff spot.

It just makes everything so much better in the long run.


For example:
No full court pressing unless there 2 minutes left in the 4th or you are down by double digits.
No more than 50% of your total points can come from in the paint.
No more than 25 three point attempts a game.(Unless you are down big most of the game.)
On ball defense most of the time.
No one player having 30% of your shot attempts. ie: Dwayne Wade taking 30 shots, and the team only taking 40 in total. (It cuts down on players scoring 80 a game.)
Off of a simple missed shot attempt, do not fast break. Off an air ball, steal, or block then fast break. (It cuts down on people chucking the ball up court after every miss and simply laying it in before the other teams defense can get back.)Note: May be ok if there is less than 2 mins in the game and you are down and desperate.


Just suggestions to make it better and more sim.

oh damn, i thought these were official rules for the next league, but i hope they will be

i am guilty with the fastbreaking though, gotta fix that for the next league
 
They could be official rules, but you know some people are going to complain about them and just ignore them.

Hopefully all goes smoothly though because the majority of people seem to agree with them.
