Most definitely, man. Tokyo, Osaka, and Hong Kong made the top 5 or 10 (I forget) most expensive cities to live in on the planet.

i'd guess no, i know mandarin oranges are abundantly grown in japan. i just think they jack prices up for fresh squeezed OJ.

^ My boss told me he bought an apple in Japan for about $5 U.S. Fruit baskets there mean a lot more than they do here in the U.S.

do you not remember WHIPS in the street vol. dubai edition thread???......@#%%@

cool stoneface bro

guess what i've been. it sucks. why? start with virtual slave labor the lower class is tied into, the complete lack of culture, atrocious nightlife(alcohol is only allowed in restaurants), oppressive, corrupt law, and disgusting heat most of the time. it's cool seeing some of the buildings, the indoorskiing, etc. but after a couple days there isn't much to do other than shop.

and if you really wanna see ill whips go to monaco.

You can't be serious. Thailand is a 3rd world country, man. Only a small percentage of people can afford to drive nice cars, A LOT of peoplelive in poverty. Hell, I talked to the Maserati salesman and he said they only sell 12-15 cars a year. I just took pix of the cars because I saw them.

not surprised, gift giving in general means a lot more in Japan.

it was ridiculous seeing the bill for JUST orange juice at $60.
