I just watched this British sci-fi with my girl tonight. While not strictly "foreign" in the sense that the majority of yall are referring to, I thought it was a great movie:

Six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion a cynicaljournalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through aninfected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

On a sidenote, I fell in love with the girl in the movie. The way she dressed, her mannerisms, that laugh, the hair, EVERYTHING

and she spoke pretty good Spanish

This was GREAT!

I really enjoyed it and I'd recommend it to anyone who liked Cloverfield or The Blair Witch Project.

About to watch Animal Kingdom. I heard it's pretty great, and I'm excited.

But I came in here to post I Saw The Devil. Korean movie starring the main character from Oldboy. If you liked Oldboy and can stomach some intensely gory scenes, this movie is for you.

Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (books are good as well)
Curse of the Golden Flowers
King of the Masks
Infernal Affairs

swear I watched so many thanks to Netflix but I can't remember them all......

I've mostly seen the original Japanese/Thai horror films that are eventually remade. I liked Ju-On, Shutter, Infection.

But other than that:
City of God
Pan's Labyrinth
Y Tu Mama Tambien
