AS5 has big brother and survivor cast. Lol production finds a way to always kill anything good with this show. Not trying to see josh, fessy, kaycee on the main show, as and usa because they do it for dirt cheap compared to rr,rw cast members.

Yea nothing against Kam but it was disappointing that they no longer kept the cast to just RR/RW'ers and Fresh Meat I/II. Now they are just opening the floodgates and anyone on even one season of the Challenge seems to be eligible for AS.

On the other hand I guess we should appreciate that we're still getting new Challenge seasons with the future of Paramount in the air and everything could change if/when they get bought out.

Besides all stars 1-4 the challenge has been so trash since after world of the worlds 2. This is straight up production cutting cost. Fessy, josh, big t will literally do the show for like 20k or less plus weekly stipend. rw/rr alumni’s will not. They tried to get Veronica and trishelle on season 40 and only offered them $25k. If the ratings tank on season 40 with that cast it’s a wrap for this show I don’t now what else could save it.

Wow I guess they quickly forgot what the premise for The Challenege All Stars was really about. I've read rumors that former OG challengers want to be on AS but they don't give them a call.

Yup. Susie is practically begging to be on. Sarah would go in with her on. Marie, davon, Ashley, Hunter. A lot more. Production is basically casting who they can get for cheap and aren’t too demanding on set (except for their favorite like Jordan, bananas, ct, Tori and their friends).
Doesn’t matter if they make good tv or not.

Y'all been watching AS4? Laurel had another one of her infamous blowups on the last ep. Girl is a wreck at times with her at first wanting nothing to do with Nicole, then forgiving her and getting involved romantically, then to being confused and confiding in Cara Maria, to Cara talking down on Nicole but then Laurel riding for Nicole again and then Laurel and Cara getting into it during the tribunal/deliberation/slash whatever name they've given the voting process this season.

Additionally, once again the daily challenge was very bad and Kam got others to throw her in yet they can't figure out how she keeps getting away with this stuff lol. NGL it's still been better than season 39 but some of the storylines are getting old fast.

Contestants are overall dumb this season. How are you not going to break up a pair that has twice as much chances of getting to the final with kam and leroy.

flora and nicole are equally stupid calling Cara selfish. It's a game and the goal is to win $250k. Is she supposed to want to be last and give up her spot for other people?

Washed Roy Lee and Krazy Kam along with the laurel and Nicole drama is making this a tough season to get through time to wrap up this season

I highly suggest you guys check out the Real World subreddit. They just finished uploading the classic San Diego season, and now doing OG Vegas. They're basically greatest hits from those seasons.

Well the AS4 finals was very forgettable. I realize they dumb them down for AS seasons and especially when there is only one winner regardless of sex but this one was just bad. Very dumb format to purge out some contestants with carnival games. Also, Laurel winning wasn't exactly a shock but Steve having a sudden brain fart is highly questionable.

Also glad we don't have to hear Leroy keep talking about baby Kingston (eff that kid!) but nah he mentioned him like 5-10x each episode.

Also, new photos for S40 are out now and it will premiere Aug 14! Really interested to see how they do the eras format and just hope they don't do some dumb mid season twist. Aviv is back for the first time since Fresh Meat 1! Has to be one of the longest gaps between seasons outside of All stars.

MTV's 'The Challenge' season 40 will be themed 'Battle of the Eras' and will feature returning vets including Johnny 'Bananas' Devenanzio, CT Tamburello, Aneesa Ferreira, Mark Long and 'All Stars 4' champion Laurel Stucky. The show will premiere in August.

Johnny tight being on that weak era 2 team. Bet him and Cara try to defect.

If you really do this by eras CT shouldn’t be with Darrell and Mark technically. He should be grouped with Johnny and dudes around that time.

There’s no redemption house with 40 cast members lol. Season would last from august till April next year if there was a redemption house. You lose you’re out. Eras are also competing amongst themselves not against each other for the first quarter of the season which is ******* stupid

Imagine a world where the likes of CT, Johnny, Laurel, Cara Maria, Darrell and Jordan were amongst the first competitors eliminated. Don't tell me they wouldn't create something like a redemption house to give them a second chance to get back in. If they do some kind of early season purge and key personalities are involved I don't see how they wouldn't give them another crack to get back in the house.
