I like this one:

When you're first born you are crying and everyone around you is smiling.

Live your life so that at your funeral you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

“Be brave. Even if you’re not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference. Don’t allow the phone to interrupt important moments. It’s there for your convenience, not the callers. Don’t be afraid to go out on a limb. That’s where the fruit is. Don’t burn bridges. You’ll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river. Don’t forget, a person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated. Don’t major in minor things. Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Helen Keller, Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. Don’t spread yourself too thin. Learn to say no politely and quickly. Don’t use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved. Don’t waste time grieving over past mistakes Learn from them and move on. Every person needs to have their moment in the sun, when they raise their arms in victory, knowing that on this day, at his hour, they were at their very best. Get your priorities straight. No one ever said on his death bed, ‘Gee, if I’d only spent more time at the office’. Give people a second chance, but not a third. Judge your success by the degree that you’re enjoying peace, health and love. Learn to listen. Opportunity sometimes knocks very softly. Leave everything a little better than you found it. Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation. Loosen up. Relax. Except for rare life and death matters, nothing is as important as it first seems. Never cut what can be untied. Never overestimate your power to change others. Never underestimate your power to change yourself. Remember that overnight success usually takes about fifteen years. Remember that winners do what losers don’t want to do. Seek opportunity, not security. A boat in harbor is safe, but in time its bottom will rot out. Spend less time worrying who’s right, more time deciding what’s right. Stop blaming others. Take responsibility for every area of your life. Success is getting what you want. Happiness is liking what you get. The importance of winning is not what we get from it, but what we become because of it. When facing a difficult task, act as though it’s impossible to fail.”
— Jackson Brown Jr.

"What you still need to know is this: before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams, master the lessons we've learned as we've moved toward that dream. That is the point at which most people give up."

This is awesome. I think i'll try to read this everyday in the morning, at lunch and before I go to bed. It's builds a great set of principles in my mind that I really need to iron in. If anyone can make this into a nice graphical format it'd be much better. Well, I'll try and do that haha :D

Stuff I can print as posters?

Which ones are you looking for?

Even if you can get a really high res picture like (5000px by 4000px), that still might not be big enough to make a poster. You could try and rasterbate them which would work though.

That's more than enough for a poster unless you're trying to cover the side of your house.

I recommend at least 300dpi for poster prints.

My favorite quote. Posted this on my cork board.

Thanks for this.

I woke up last morning from a nightmare (first in awhile) and immediately felt this huge feeling of regret. I then realized that my greatest fear in this very limited life of ours is squandering my potential.

"Great minds have great purposes, others have wishes. Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them" - Washington Irving

"Losers live in the past. Winners learn from the past and enjoy working in the present toward the future"- Denis Waitly

"Most obstacles melt away when we make up our minds to boldly walk threw them."-Orison Marden

"I learned the value of patience when I realized that nothing worthwhile could be attained with a short temper and lack of understanding. I learned to adapt to various situations because there was no alternative, because if I didn’t, I would fail my co-founder and the rest of my staff, who never complained and only wanted what was best for our company. I learned to be levelheaded despite my surroundings because the best decisions are made when you remember to breath and trust your judgment. And above all else, I learned the importance of self-improvement because life is about learning at every chance you get, and the moment you stop learning is the moment you stop growing."
